Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. Currently playing FFXIV and it is all Yurei's fault. I do indeed have one character currently playing by the name of Yraen Thornstar on Diabolos. Platform is PC Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Army vet going to college so I can have a fancy piece of paper saying I know how to do what I already know how to do. At least it should help bring me cash monies in theory. Couple cats and a dog but they are really my parents who I am currently residing at while I get schooled and all that. Also, Yurei is my real life brother and all that jazz. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I would like to join as Yurei said you were all pretty cool and laid back. I can best help the community by doing things that need doing like eating bacon. Am also willing to do things like step out of my comfort zone of melting faces and tank or possibly heal. The community can best help me by being as drama free as a group of people can be Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. It is Yurei's fault. mmhmm also the FC board kind of has the website on it. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. Currently my schedule is a little bit everyday with a lota bit every weekend depending on homework and such. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Best game... do you want it seperated by genre? Does D&D count? I do not really have just one BEST GAME EVEAR1!!!1! though I do tend to play the Elder scrolls (Oblivion is my favorite though I do like Skyrim) and Fallouts a lot Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I usually play on PC just because Yurei tended to hog the consoles growing up... lol Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I started with EQ where I did a lot of fishing, WoW still play off and on, ESO (fuck VR), Rift is still fun, SWTOR for force choke, TSW for its lovecraftian bits, tried out Wildstar too Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. I tend to like PVP the most though leveling/crafting is enjoyable as well. Never really got into raiding as there always seems to be waayyyy too much drama involved though would like to try it out. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Not tracking any at the moment Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. Yep, I will be active on both. Calanders are always handy Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I concur Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. That is the point of being in a guild. To help each other out otherwise go play a single player game Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Whoever it would be the best upgrade for I would assume. If Person A already has the drop or equivalent then it should probably go to person B. Hopefully with no favoritism or cronyism Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A.Bacon is out fucking standing. Nice crispy bacon on all the things!!!!
