    - What brought you to our website?
I did a few adventures with OSD members tonight and was kindly plointed to this site.

    - This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Tell us about yourself.
I am a programmer, danish & a father. I have played PnP rolepalying games since 1988, and MMO's from around 2000.

    - Do you enjoy Role Playing in-game?
I have done my share of in game roleplaying, but usually I go for quiet role play, that is, trying to keep the experience 'real' without actually role playing my character in text or voice.

    - Which online game interests you? (AoC or DDO) We expect all of our AoC players to use Ventrilo while they are in game. Is this ok with you?
Sure, used that a lot in EVE Online.

    - Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar?
    Try stopping me... :D

    - Once you learn how, we want you to create events or RSVP other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits. What are your thoughts on this? How frequent do you figure on creating an event for others to participate in? You comfortable promoting these events in the Ventrilo and/or guild chat channels?
    Not a problem.

    - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started?
I have a 6+ year addiction to EVE Online that I am trying to get over... I havent played a lot of fantasy MMO's, mostly Scif-Fi.

    - Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources?
    Yes.

    - We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER. Are you ok with this? After reading the above content, why do you think it might be important?
Not a problem. Not that I see ti as a big issue for non PvP games like DDO, but in PvP games, you like to know ALL a persons chars.

    - What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character?
In EVE i was (am) an industrialist, aka crafter. I have done my fair share of PvP too. For me group play is important and I like to play roles that support a group, also often in less high profile jobs.

    - If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community. You ok with this?
    Yes. Of course.

    - What time of day do you typically play? How often?
20-24 central european time. But you could see me on at other time during weekends.

    - Are you affiliated with any other guilds?
Not in DDO or AoC. In EvE i am.

    - How do you think you can best help this community?
Beeing an all round nice guy, that doesnt mind giving back.

    - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most? What level is your main character?
    DDO - Yanei - Paladin lvl 9

    - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within
Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? For Age of Conan we play on the Cimmeria server. Do you play on this server?
Aye. Thats how I got to know you. :)

    - For Age of Conan, we require that your are familiar with our Guild Structure and Advancement described here (Age of Conan Guild Advancement). Are your prepared for your journey to Vassal? Tell us what you think of this quest ahead of you?
With no immidiate plans to play AoC. No.

Yanei!! Great to see that you made it to the gates. I am glad we got to group with you again. PUGs can be hit or miss as you know well. Our community offers a solid mix of players at all levels. The key to success is getting yourself engaged and the calendar/forums are good way to plug in and hit the ground running.

Donnie, our DDO community leader, should be around shortly to give ya an all clear to the rest of the site.

Again, look around and if you have any questions give me a shout.

Cheers! Snyval (aka, Theranus and other alts)

PS: I know we've got some active folks from across the pond (across from the States - I mean) in game so hopefully there will be folks at all hours with whom to join up. And there are plenty of junkies online regardless of timezone :)

smid Shantaram på din friendslist så kan vi ses ingame - regner med at få spillet lidt imorgen men det er ikke sikkert da jeg skal lege håndværker i en ny lejlighed, men nu må vi se

Glæder mig til at spille med dig!

    Welcome Friend

Danish eh? One of my characters is nammed Lovinde Koldhjerte, which according to the online Danish dictionary means Cold Hearted Lioness. Don't ask me why I chose a Danish name, it just sounded cool.

Anyhow, welcome to the Stronghold. I look forward to adventuring with you.

    See you in Stormreach.

    It's close :)

    Lioness = Løvinde(Loevinde or Lovinde)
Coldhearted dosn't translate easy into danish, it becomes something with "is" = ice all too easy. Koldhjerte sounds like danish, but hundreds of years old - so in that way I thinks you'l translated it well actually :)

That's good to know. I felt really bad soon after rolling her up, as an obviously Danish player sent me a tell in your native language. I had to explain the situation to him. Maybe I'll get that Rosetta Stone software and learn the language.
