Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. I am interested in FFXIV and my characters name is Azrael Drizbonshiname Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I love playing games (Tabletop, RPG's, and Video Games), I love playing airsoft and I love being with my family. My Fiance is on a trial account and loving the game. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I love multi game groups. The ability to play with the same people across multiple games and forming friendships. I believe I can be a member of the group that people will enjoy grouping with and raiding with and also just chilling on TS. I am looking for the same as I am willing to give. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. I saw the post by DocterHoo on the Diabolos realm forums and it sounded very interesting. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I usually play in the evenings and on most days. I play lightly after work until my kids go to bed and then I can get focused on the hard content. I am in Mountain time Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Chrono trigger, the game is pure perfection from the simplistic story to the amazing soundtrack I feel the game is the only game worthy of being called "The Sacred Game" Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I mainly play on PC but will play Disney Infinity with my son on PS4 Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I have been playing MMO's since I was just out of highschool. I played Vanilla WoW all the way through Lich King without breaking my sub. After that I still played it off and on through the expansions and have also played a few different MMOS. I played FFXI for around a month, I play GW2 regularly, I also sometimes play Marvel Heroes. I have tried most MMO's for at least a month. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. I love raiding in a group filled with friends. The feeling of accomplishing a task with that many people is amazing. But on a good night you can wipe and still laugh and just enjoy the time together. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Currently only FFXIV Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I will try my hardest on the forums but will definitely be active on TS. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes I do Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. You have my sword, and my axe Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Anyone that participated in the raid should have a fair chance at the item. Everyone put forth the effort, it's only right. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Bacon is ambrosia
+1, Although we can define sacred in so many ways nowadays Great Application! I just updated your permissions, so you now should have full forum access. Please check out the FFXIV sub section of the forums here. If you can do the online FC application and say you got approved on the forum, that would be great. If you head to the Mists Ward 1 Plot 15, there should be someone there that can help so we can get you in the FC. Welcome to the Silver Dragons! Doc
