Welcome to the Silver Flagon Tavern. A place for friends we know, and those we've yet to meet to gather and share tales of the road.

A few things to note:

Generally speaking, posts in the SFT should be "in-character" (IC). If you need to post "Out of Character" (OOC) please make sure you notate where it begins and ends clearly. That said, there are usually better mediums for OOC content including PMs and other forum sections.

Another thing to be mindful of is "power gaming". Don't

Power-gaming is a situation where you assume an outcome or action that belongs to, or depends on, people other than yourself (for which you have not received approval to post for).

Example:

"Bale thrusts his broadsword at X, shredding his armor as though it were butter and sinking the tip of his blade into the man's torso."

This is bad. Instead, consider:

"Bale thrusts his broadsword at X, confident his blade would find its mark."

This leaves the story open for "X" to respond. We have not robbed the player of autonomy.

Additionally, try and be mindful of the timeline across threads. If you're RPing in the SFT in one thread as well as in-game on an adventure, it may not make sense to reference the adventure in the SFT if it "hasn't happened" yet. We have yet to discover the secrets of backwards time-travel
