In my many travels I've seen many a warrior saving the victims of foulness, only to realize that they were branded with the mark of the silver dragon. I am currently level 40+ and am interesting in joining a proud RP'ing guild. - This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Tell us about yourself. Well, I'm in my mid 30's and have played role-playing games (board, and computer) on and off for quite a long time. I understand the concept of 'role play' and realize the benefits of working in a team-based environment. - Do you enjoy Role Playing in-game? Very much so. It should be common-sense to RP out there, however I find it's not that common. All my interactions are truly role-playing, and I find it will usually 'stop' another character in their tracks as they want to take it to the next level. - Which online game interests you? (AoC or DDO) Age of Conan. We expect all of our AoC players to use Ventrilo while they are in game. Is this ok with you? Yes, but I have children and talking on Ventrilo doesn't always work. I might be on mute alot so that the team wouldn't hear the chatter from my side. - Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar? Yes...but I haven't been involved with a large guild before, so I'll do my best. - Once you learn how, we want you to create events or RSVP other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits. What are your thoughts on this? How frequent do you figure on creating an event for others to participate in? You comfortable promoting these events in the Ventrilo and/or guild chat channels? I don't know. I haven't participated in any real 'events' like you are describing. I believe that with the correct knowledge and know-how it shouldn't be an issue. - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I have been playing RPG's for a while, and MMO's for a year or so. I originally participated in Asheron's Call a long time back, I've played a few months in the XBox360 Final Fantasy IX, and I have played for about 12 months in Guild Wars in a more relaxed setting with not much guild combat. - Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources? Website is great...I haven't seen it all but it looks enticing. - We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER. Are you ok with this? After reading the above content, why do you think it might be important? Well, it seems very important that everyone knows the info needed on the rest of the Guild. I can only imagine how complicated it must become in the higher echelons of guild management to ensure harmony, guild city design, gathering, events, etc. If the Guild leaders do not have accurate and up-to-date information the house of cards can collapse...and fast. - What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character? Zsolaith is my only real character in AOC so far. He is a Cimmerian Guardian who is slowly taking his time to understand the story development...to see what is happening in the world...to stop for a while to watch the setting of the sun...and to sit and relax to feed a small cat at the port of Old Tarantia. - If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community. You ok with this? Of course. - What time of day do you typically play? How often? After work (EST) for a few hours. Many hours on the weekend. - Are you affiliated with any other guilds? None. - How do you think you can best help this community? By doing my best to interact, communicate, assist and support, round up the team...and above all to stay in character while helping those that need assistance in the guild and out of the guild. It's our job out there to be good. - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most? What level is your main character? Zsolaith, Cimmerian Guardian, Level 42 right now. - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? Nope. For Age of Conan we play on the Cimmeria server. Do you play on this server? Yes. - For Age of Conan, we require that your are familiar with our Guild Structure and Advancement described here (Age of Conan Guild Advancement). Are your prepared for your journey to Vassal? Tell us what you think of this quest ahead of you? Actually, to be honest, it's that quest that was the final icing on the cake for your guild. It actually goes a long way in driving home the real reason we are all here...to roleplay and interact in a fantasy setting. Instead of me just being a nobody that is joining...I will come into your ranks with a prize...the head of a felled beast. It would make me feel very welcome indeed!

How I found you... Hi Seldonia, Bee. It's great hearing from you. My travelling friend Donarus and I have bumped into the Order of the Silver Dragons a few times, and as listed above, they have only been courteous and very helpful. On forums.ageofconan.com I had found a listing of all guilds on the Cimmeria server, and again saw the Silver Dragons. I decided to look into your website, and when I read that I had to search out your guild city, and prove my worth by besting a powerful creature...i was hooked. I continued reading and found that the Guild elder Sook to portray a very warm, inviting yet mystical air to him. Again I was sold.
Greetings friend, I have taken a look at your application here, *wipes absently on the mug ring which smells faintly of ale* And you seem to be a fine addition to our ranks. Yes... yes... You shall have your chance to regale us with stories of your exploits in the near future so fear not brave lad, we've got our eyes on you. Now, be a sport and go under the stairs in the guild hall and fill up me mug from the keg marked "Sook's Private Stock" and then we can talk about the riddle of steel or the jingle of purses. The first requirement.... Whispers pass along between colleagues and friends...as well as enemies. Some do not wish for another warrior to attempt the search for the impregnable fortress of the Silver Dragons. With an unmistakable outline of hills and rivers scratched on a small piece of lion skin, I begin my search to seek out the Order. My friend who handed it to me found only blood and death. Mitra bless his soul. But I won't be swayed by others who wish to keep the status quo, and ensure that the ranks of those that uphold peace are enhanced. Damn them. I have not much to go on, but I have found that hope tends to keep me alive these days. Let's just 'hope' that all is well on my journey of discovery...
((I don't see your toon on the character roster friend, maybe its just not updating on my end but make sure he's on there and don't forget to join the AoC user group if you haven't already. We'll get the locksmith to craft up a citizen key (which should allow you to edit the roster and see the game-related forums) and a guild key (which will allow you to see the guild forums). As the resident alchemist, if you find any biles, bloods, flowers, spleens, or various other sundry parts, I'll craft you some of the drink Kril is so fond of. Bloody flowers are okay, too, if you're not the type who minds your mashed potatoes mixing with your peas.

My search for the Silver Dragon Stronghold It was night...and the fog was all around. I felt lost in my search for the Silver Dragon Stronghold, finding many dead ends and useless pathways. It was cold and I was tired. I could see the fire of several campfires far up ahead in the darkness, a sign of a settlement in the Province of Khopsef. I continued on hoping to pay for a place to sleep. Wait...sounds up ahead...fighting. Squeels and screeching like nothing I've ever heard before. Creatures of the darkness...but something else as well. I moved through the shadows trying to make out what was happening up ahead. I reached the top of a small hill which lay before a clearing in the desert. Before me not more than a dozen foot stood several soldiers who appeared to be marching through this desert. Warriors they were, dressed in the finest metal and chain that gold could buy. Not sure of their alignment, I kept myself well in the shadows on top of a nearby hill. In the midst of combat with enemies that I did not recognize I watched their prowess and cunning as they fought off wave of enemies. I wanted to enter the fray but they were so powerful and the mystical nature they relayed was stupendous. As I leaned in a bit too far, I stumbled a bit and slid forward down the hill. Immediately they were upon me mistaking my form for yet another raider. Phantom snakes swarmed about me, constricting my every movement as I felt the air pressed from my lungs. One of the warriors leaned forward and somehow recognized me. He immediately called his troop off and I fell to the ground. As I coughed and wheezed, trying to regain my composure...they surrounded me with quizzical looks on their faces. "My name is Bryce. How is it that I might know you stranger?" I turned and wiped the sweat from my brow. "I am Zsolaith...and I don't know you." Bryce smiled. "Ah. You are one of our fine new recruits. Zsolaith...the Wanderer as you put it." Luck was with me this day. I had inadvertantly come into contact with other Silver Dragon Guild members. Drawn weapons were lowered. Other voices were heard. "I am JustinLawson...and this fine man is Garlog". Another one was not so fast to advise on his name. He stayed farther back trying to gauge me a bit more. Bryce added "And that one is Warnacron. He isn't too keen on new ones." I cleaned myself off and introduced myself. "I am Zsolaith, and I am thankful that you did not continue to mistake me for the enemy. It is true that I am on the path towards the status of membership with your Guild". A round of laughter filled the air. "You came very close to death stranger. We mistook you for more vileness in this land." added Bryce. The next few minutes were spent with more introductions and laughter. I informed them of my search for the Silver Dragon Stronghold. They found it comical to all point in several different directions. OliverHicks stepped forth and drew his weapons. "Let's see what you are made of fine warrior in one on one combat." Swords clashed as sweat ran down my brow. I realized right then and there that I needed more training and experience under my belt. After what seemed like an eternity of aching muscle pain we ended the combat. All around me they clapped in acknowledgement of our duel and that it was good entertainment. I bowed and thanked them for their kindness and training, and that I was impressed with their skills. Bryce reminded me that these were bad parts and too be careful who I grouped with. I took his advise to hearth and wished him well. After several bows and wishes of good travels we all went our separate ways. After a minute I stopped and turned, looking over my shoulder at them as they disappeared into the darkness. Impressive they were...I hoped to be as noble and credible as them one day. I moved steadily along the road on my search for the Stronghold...but food and shelter were desperately needed.
