Greetings all! Please allow my to introduce myself and my guild, The Dominion. I am the leader of The Dominion on Argonnessen. It pleases me greatly to have our guilds officially allied. I want to thank Donnie and all of the great OSD folks for the friendships and opportunities that this alliance will bring. Dominion Gaming (http://dominiongaming.net) is an international organization of mature gamers (18+) focusing on a variety of games including massively-multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs), first-person shooters (FPS), and browser-based games. The Dominion is about camaraderie, respect, and a feeling of family that goes beyond any one game. Members of Dominion Gaming value maturity, respect, honor and are teamwork-oriented. That said, we are also a pretty fun-loving and goofy bunch of people. We believe in the importance of putting real-life before the game. We are tolerant of all sorts of builds/style of play, and often go out of our way to cater to the inexperienced or new players. While the Dominion Gaming as a whole is a rather large clan, the Dominion on the Argonnessen server is not a very large guild. Although it is a modest sized guild, it is very active. We have characters in every level range with a nice variety of character classes. Many of our members are experienced not just with DDO, but with other MMOs as well; those that are not very experienced, make up for it with an eagerness to learn and work with others. To help us move forward with this alliance and get to know eachother, our members have been instructed to join the OSD/DOM alliance chat and already making good use of it. I hope that our interactions in game and through the OSD forums will bring us all closer together. We look forward to grouping and raiding with The Order of the Silver Dragons during our time together in DDO. The channel is one that I believe Donnie created; I had the channel information in my post, but realized that it was not an appropriate place for that information as it is a publicly viewable location. I'm not sure if the information is in the private OSD forums somewhere, in the OSD GMOTD, or something. If it is not currently readily available information, feel free to contact Donnie, your guild officers, or me. ~A
Welcome to our gates Alara, something tells me that this alliance is going to be a perfect fit! Also thanks for deciding to take the channel password down, best to make sure only the right people get access to that ...speaking of the chat channel, sorry to those who hadn't gotten the info on that yet. I created the channel awhile back (to reserve the name) and was just holding out on using it until the right time. Im going to put that up in our forums right now! Alara, just one thing I need you to do real quick for me, follow the directions in the following link (I know is says AoC allies but ignore that for now): http://silverdragons-lair.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8835 Once you do that I can approve your membership request and your access will be upgraded, allowing you to sign up to calendar events and the ability to see the rest of the forums.
