    Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform?

    A. I am currently playing SWTOR on the Harbinger server. I currently have 5 characters, 4 of which are level 65 Republic: Casro (Smuggler Scoundrel - my main), Padryk (Jedi Guardian), Jin-zhe (Jedi Sage) and Virgyl, (Trooper Commando). I don't get on Imperial side much, but I do have 1 level 65 there: Rhamnus (Bounty Hunter Powertech)

    Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?)

    A. 1 am 56 years old and am currently between jobs while I'm taking care of my parents. MMO's are my main hobby although I also play single-player RPGs on my PC and participate in a D&D campaign when time permits.

    Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you?

    A. I had done a few Heroic missions with Belannos and while the guild is very small on SWTOR, I do appreciate the laid-back, casual feeling of it.

Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?)

    A. Belannos suggested I fill out an application so that I would have more abilities available within the guild.

    Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones.

    A. Since I'm currently not working I do log on a couple of times per day during the week and on weekends.

    Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why?

    A. City of Heroes. It was my first MMO and I loved how expansive the character generator was.

    Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles?

    A. PC exclusively.

    Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for?

    A. As mentioned above, City of Heroes was my first MMO. Since then, I've played Lord of the Rings Online, Age of Conan, EvE Online, Star Trek Online, DC Universe Online and Star Wars The Old Republic. I did do some beta testing for Elder Scrolls Online but really couldn't get into it when the game went live.

    Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc)

    A. I do like the class stories SWTOR offers. I have dabbled in crafting and going after achievements but don't do it hardcore.

    Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing?

    A. Not at this time. The only game I'm currently looking forward to is Mass Effect: Andromeda.

    Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events?

    A. I plan on using TS as the SWTOR guild membership increases.

    Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule?

    A. I have read the OSD Code of Conduct and agree with the rules.

    Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic?

    A. I don't mind helping out but I'm not a PvP player. However, if you're that desperate for me to fill a role and don't mind my inexperience then I have no problem with it.

    Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why?

    A. The one who can get the most out of it. If there is a tie, then seniority -- meaning who has been actively playing in the guild the longest -- should be followed.

    Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams?

    A. Dang, now I want to go to International House of Pancakes!

Sent you a pm with this info also. It's an important step to get you in with the rest of us nut cases.

II. Requesting Access to the Forums (Permission Groups)

Permission groups allow you to access certain parts of the forums. Members should request both Citizen and Member permissions. Some of our allies have limited forum access. Allies should request only Citizen permissions.

Permissions will not be accepted without the Introductory Post (Step III). The Intro post is what lets us know to look for your permissions requests.

Here is how you request permission groups:
    1. Click the following link ... (Permission Groups) (If you want to get there without the link, click settings which is at the top right of this page, then scroll down and click permission groups on the left side).
    2. Select the radio button to Join Group for “Citizen.” Then, scroll down and hit the “Join Group”button.
    3. Next select the radio button to Join Group for “Member”. Then scroll down and hit the “Join Group”button.

Note : Steps 2 and 3 can not be combined.
