Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. I am currently playing BDO. I have a 50 Berserker (Stehl) and a 50 Ranger (Seekiel). My family name is Blackcliff. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I am a 38 Y/O software developer. I am currently in the process of taking over the world, but I missed the last question on Jeopardy... Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I spoke with Xanz earlier about OSD and you guys seem like a good fit. I am looking for an active guild with regular group events and a friendly community. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. I saw your recruitment post on the forums. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I am on most evenings after work (CST) and weekends. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. that's a hard one...not sure about the "best" but Rift is my most memorable as it was my first MMO. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC mostly Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I kind of went backwards from most. I started with Rift at launch then I went to WoW. Us Dyslexic's never do anything right Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. I love the challenge and group effort of raiding, but I enjoy most any group activity. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. not at the moment. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I have no problem using TS and am happy to use a group calendar. Communication and organization is important for any successful guild. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. yes Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. sounds good Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Assuming there is no DKP involved, and everyone in the raid are all active players, the loot should go to the person who will benefit the most; the one that will receive the biggest upgrade from the item. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. mmm...bacon -- OSD Black Default -- vB4 White -- New Grey -- Black Gray -- Default Mobile Style
