I like to write when I can get my brain working and work full time as a medical administrator. Been volunteering with a Distress Line/Tel Check service for about 5 years now but am about to take a sabbatical. I live with my boyfriend. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. The sense of community. I don't play too many MMOs so it would be nice to have a few people to join up with and play. It'd be nice to hang out with a few casual players and I could help the community by offering a bit of time or the occassional assist. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. My buddy Phantom suggested I check out the game and invited me to the guild. Also U had a dream of filling out this exact application for the past week and it needs to go away. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I'm in the GMT- 5 time zone, Southwestern Ontario. Usually my log in time is around 6PM and I'll play for a few hours. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. I have a few favourites: Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time: my first experience with a adventure game. Dragon Age Origins, a great RPG and I have a huge soft spot for the Pokemon game. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC and the Nintendo . Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. Haven't played a lot of MMOs for too long- I tried LOTR, DDO but never played them for too long. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Roleplaying, exploration, character building, and leveling. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Not yet! Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and our Discord server? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. Sure, being active in forums is always fun and it'll give me a chance to learn the ropes or help someone else. Event calenders sound pretty useful - especially if you could put up a banner for upcoming events? Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your play style of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I'll join in if I can of course. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Depends on the specs. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Yes it is. Anthropomorphic bacon that does backflips.

Happy to see you here. if youre looking for a sense of community, remember this as a rule of thumb: the more you put in, the more you get out. so many people want so many things, but they want them on a silver platter, theyve got no skin in the game, and/or, they dont want to 'invest' to get the returns. while we, as a community can (and happily do) supply you with many tools and opportunities for in and out of game contests/social interaction/events/etc... this will only give you so much... to break through that plateau and *really* connect, a little bit of time posting and helping in the forums and in game will get you what you want. ive been here 10 years (with a couple RL hiatus') and i can vouch for that. dragon age origins is a game i absolutely love !! during my first hiatus, i played through this. and as far as zelda goes... zelda is my all-time fav console game series! i think either ocarina or windwaker is my fav of them... i can never decide which i like better if youre ever looking to get back in to ddo or lotro, we have a presence in both! again, welcome!
