I noticed the posting in the guild section of the DDO forums and I am looking for a more active, mature guild to play with. - This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Tell us about yourself: I have am happily married for 20 years, I have 2 chlidren and a beautiful 2 year old grand daughter. My som is 11 and my daughter is 21. I am 42 years old , served 12 years in the Marines and I am currently a Chemical Engineer that works in an alternative fuels R&D facility for big oil. - We have found that guild members have a better gaming experience if they use the forums and the events calender. This allows you to get game information and join guildies in quests as your RL time permits. Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar? Very much so. Thats the reason I am looking for a new guild. - Once you learn how, we would like you to create events or RSVP for other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits. What are your thoughts on this? Certainly. - Most of our regular calendar events are high level raids and epics. Do you plan to participate in such events once you reach the appropriate level? Of course. I regularly run raids and I am looking forward to doing Epics. - Are you willing to give priority to guild-sponsored events? Absolutely. I wouldn't be looking to change guilds if I were not going to make my new guild a high priority. - Nearly all of our events are scheduled in the afternoon or evening EST/CST/PST. Events done outside of this time frame will require initiative on the parts of interested members in organizing them. Are you okay with this? I do a lot of gaming in the afternoon and evening but I also do just as much during the day as I have a very flexible boss and work schedule which allows me to play pretty much whenever I want. - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I started back in February of this year. - We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER. Are you ok with this? After reading the above content, why do you think it might be important? Because people are always starting and deleting characters and with such a large guild it would be nearly immpossible to tell who was who if rosters were not current. nd of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character: My main character, Sorrowanddoo, is a level 20 pure fighter with 3 levels of improved human recovery and 749 hp unbuffed usually. I made him to be a bit sef sufficient and easy to heal. - If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community. You ok with this? Of course. - What time of day do you typically play? How often? I play everyday and I have to split playing time with my son. I am typically off and on all day and on after 8:00 pm central time. - Are you affiliated with any other guilds? Yes I am currently in a good guild it just suffers from inactivity and lacks very many high level players. - How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? I will always do whatever I can to help anyone.This community will be most helpful to me just by being active. - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (sere STEP 3) do you play the most? What level is your main character? Sorrowanddoo is my main character. - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? Yes I do. Let the community chime in at this point. There might be a few questions. Here's a good opportunity to get to know us. We have some folks that post an intro and are never to be heard from again. This is a good indication to us that this player is not very forum active...not what we want!! So, I encourage you to keep tabs on your intro post in case a member has a question or comment for you. Welcome, ChemE! It sounds like you're a good fit for the guild. I've approved your permission access, so now we'll just need to get you guilded in-game. Just sort the who list by guild and send a tell to any OSD member and they should be able to direct you to the nearest officer.

Welcome to the Silver Gates ChemE. Sounds like a cool job I've been meaning to maybe try out an engineering field of some sort or another in college. I can't seem to make up my mind what to study, but it sounds interesting and something that might fit some of my abilities and interests, so I figured why not check it out. I gotta try something lol. They'll force me to pick some major or other before too long here. Have you tried Octane's formula for converting it into Super Energon? (Don't mind me, been watching too much Transformers again ) Ah Fighters. Love my elven fighter because she's the one character I don't have to worry about not being able to get enough feats on ^_^ Haven't played her in quite a while though. Monk too addicting
Yep like I said I am a R&D engineer in alternative fuels but I work for big oil and the joke is Big oil is never looking for alternative fuels. On the side I am working on an improved forward osmosis membrane with some buddies. I will square things with my current guild and graciously accept your invitation.
