- What brought you to our website? A friend applied (Kheth) and since I came to AoC at his urging I'd like to share the same experiences including joining a guild. After reading you guild information and policies this seems exactly the type of guild and people I would like to play with. - Which online game interests you? AoC We expect all of our AoC players to use Ventrilo while they are in game. Is this ok with you? Already have Vent installed and maintain a server (50 person) - Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar? Quite active. - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I played Ultima Online for 4 years and moved over to WoW for the past year and a half. - Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources? Absolutely, you folks have a nice set-up here. - We expect all players to submit and update their characters in our website ROSTER. Are you ok with this? No issues with this what-so-ever - What kind of character do you typically play? In UO I mainly played a crafter (typical Mule for those who know the game) but also had a Bushido Swordsman. In WoW I started with a warrior and quickly changed over to a priest. Tell us about your main character? Seldonia is a Tempest of Set (currently level 34) and is finding herself liking the power she wields over the forces of nature. However, her healing abilities are sure to become the main focus in later levels as group play will call for those skills at that point. - What time of day do you typically play? I am on in the evenings from 5pm to roughly 10:30 - 11 Eastern time. How often? Just about everyday. - Are you affiliated with any other guilds? Not in AoC. I was second in command of a guild in WoW and was given leadership about a month ago. I am currently in the process of handing leadership off to one of the higher ranking officers (just letting them all figure out what they want to do at this time). as I am not playing WoW anymore. - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most? Seldonia is my main and only character on the server. - For Age of Conan we play on the Cimmeria server. Do you play on this server? Are there others?
May I be the first to welcome you to the guild (most likely followed by War with a copy/paste response) Make sure you apply for both the citizen and AoC guild usergroups and an officer will give you access to our forums once they get on.
This is not a cop/paste response, I usually type it out every time, just do it so often I have it memorized. Welcome to the Stronghold. I am War. My job you ask is simple, to create chaos and annoyance with witty remarks and obnoxious sounds while playing. If you ask the others, I do it pretty well. My secondary job, as other will tell you, is the guild scapegoat when things go wrong. All in all, welcome to our home, and hopefully, yours as well.
Approved!! You should now have guild level access to our community!! Welcome aboard.... Please help us by keeping our recruitment thread alive at the Turbine site... link is stickied in our AoC Guild forums.... Looking forward to meeting you in Ventrilo!
Thank you all for such a warm welcome! I have already applied for access to guild and community areas. I look forward to meeting all of you in Vent within the next day or so. I listed Seld as my main (and she is) but as of this afternoon / evening I will be making an Alt. If I understand this correctly I should put said alts information in the roster and in my sig. Is that correct? Thanks again and see you all soon!
Following? Hehehe Stalking is more like it... Take a look outside your window tonight, yep, that's my shadow you'll be seeing....Muahahahahah.
Welcome to the Guild, Seldonia! I won't see you in AoC, only on the website. I'm one of the few, right now, maintaining a presence for OSD in DDO. ...wasn't aware that a vacuum could be worked overtime! hehe
Thanks, I'll log into vent this evening as I hope to attend the building ceremony. As for my sig pic, It's actually Seld, with a nice smudgy background.. Oh and just updated the roster with Seldonia and Altace (my new Alt). I really like the Roster function here. Very detailed and quite easy to use. Kudos to the designer on that.
Greetings again Seldona! Glad you could make it to our historic one-stop guild creation event last night!
Nice meeting you at the build fest. Hope to raise many tankards & run adventures with you. If you beed any help, Srcream!!!!!!!!!! Your Loyal & unhollowed Dark Templar
