Tell us about your main character?I usually play elven melee types. Cuchoinneach Deathslayer in my main, and he is a RAN/FTR/CLR Undead Slayer. He dual weilds a +3 Holy Burst Khopesh and +3 Holy Burst Scimitar. - Describe your style of game play...Mild roleplaying and just good fun. I am not a powergamer. - What time of day do you typically play? Aye, and to clarify, as some people have been upset at this requirement,taking their ball and going home, I'll explain why it might be an issue. We at OSD aren't a guild of characters. We aren't interested in guidling "characters." We are a guild of players. Yndro is Yndro, regardless of what character he's playing. Bee may be parading as Eyern, but he's still Bee. Sook is Sook, though he has not a single character named Sook (much to his dismay). Some view this as a threat to their individuality that we require a full commitment, and in fact, we don't. Many of these people that want to keep allegiance to another guild are offered status as a citizen, though not full fledged membership. Our friends at Shriners Anonymous are a good example. We share our resources and experience with them, but they are independent of us. So, if you wish to maintain membership in another guild, please don't take offence that we deny you. In fact, we are recognizing the other guild as something worthy of allegiance, and preventing split loyalties. However, we sometimes make exceptions, in rare cases. Apex (i believe) has a private guild that consists of one of his characters, his wife, and his kid. He maintains this guild so that he can assist his kid when needed. We've no objection to this kind of tie, but otherwise when we consider you for membership, we are considering you, not your character. Thats why there's only two questions on the starting questionaire about your character, and eight about you!
Just to clarify... I designed the first MOD for Baulder's Gate. It was called "Darkside of the Swordcoast" not to be confused with the Official Released Expansion of "Tales of the Swordcoast." I am not a designer per se, I'm actually a graphic designer/web designer who has a love of DnD and really liked the BG games and got involved in hacking the engine and creating the first ever MOD, since then there have been several others come out. Second... it's not that I want to be a part of another guild. Silver Dragons would be my ONLY guild, however, My main toon "Cuchoinneach" (pronounced: K' hun' yik) is a "Knight of the Undying Keep".... not a guild as he is the only member, but I just wish to retain that identifier with him. All my other toons would be complete members of the guild... but Guild members could know I am a member of the Guild and "Cuchoinneach" would also be a member, he just wouldn't have the Guild Name over his head so that he can keep his "Knight of the Undying Keep". Make sense?? Thanks!
Ahh, thats a horse of another color. Gonna leave that one up to the big boys up stairs, but i personally don't foresee a problem (though i'm wrong, sometimes.)

Baldur's Gate Tales of the Sword Coast huh.....I have many fine memories of all the good times spent roaming all around The Sword Coast in me younger years ...Ahh now those were the days!!! Anyway if you had a hand in making that great game please tell us more about it. Also .....I was not quite certian I understood yer intentions fer your characters....concerning their exclusiveness. If you could elaborate a little more so I could get a better handle on what yer meaning that would help out alot... Now its time fer Ragnok to CHIME out!! Let me clarify. I had nothing to do with the Official Expansion for Baldur's Gate called "Tales of the Swordcoast" What I did do was designed the first UN-official MOD for the game from a private individual called "Darkside of the Swordcoast" Two different things entirely. Wouldn't want you to get the idea I worked for Bioware.
i personally have no problem w/the guild thing only issue i forsee is this: if yer 'main' toon is in yer one-man guild, then finding quick groups may be cumbesome, as it will have to be done through /tells and i for one hate typing... bah! blind invite a guildie then just voice chat w/them... thats my M.O.
You mean this is unusual? I thought this was general OSD policy! party: "Hey, remo's on. Grab him." Guild: "Hey, remo, want to do ______ with us?" party: "Bloody hell. I didn't say ASK him, i said GRAB him! If he doesn't want to go, we'll make him go anyway!"

Hey True Knight! Welcome to the gates. I see ya applied for DDO~Guild access but ya need to apply for Citizen access as well. Once granted it opens up the main site with all the cool forums and especially cool CALENDAR where events are posted for all levels and times.
Hello friend... I like to ask this question as the Community Advocate around here... Will you be an active member within our website? - Check in our calendar for events... RSVP when something lines up with your schedule. - Chime in with answers to questions other guildies might have... - Ask the questions you might have... - Just being an active member within our website overall... It's easy for guildies to become disconnected if they dont check in our website from time to time... We don't want anyone feeling left out.
Aye, that is the number one complaint that feels universal no matter what guild your in. It seems like all the established members are all hanging out together, and leaving you out in the cold, and in some cases, it is true. But here at OSD, the only way you can be left out is if you deliberately ignore our events system.
Also... I wanted to ask about your AVATAR... That looks like the symbol of the Undying Court... is that correct?
