A: I have been gaming online since Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries followed by Counter Strike and for a decade prior to that on consoles. My first MMORPG experience was in Everquest and my first pvp and guild experience was in Silkroad Online. I have played just about every major MMO title since those games and have lead some very successful end game guilds in World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV. I was a active member in the largest most infamous alliance in all of Eve Online IT Alliance also know as Band of Brothers. I participated with All Out Assault where I played Guild Wars 2 and DayZ. i am the founder of Bad Wolves where I play Eve Online, Minecraft, and ESO currently. Who or What brought you to our Gates? A: Doctorhoo's FFXIV guild alliance on Diabolos. Q 9: There are many ways to engage and get the full guild experience with OSD. How often do you see yourself using the Forums / Discord rather than in-game to interact with the community? A: Reasonably often, I am at least a bit more forum warrior like than the average gamer, but I don't promise living there. Q 10: Please tell us a little about yourself. No need to be too explicit. We don’t need your home address or shoe size. Let us know about your hobbies if you have them. Do you have family? Pets? Work? Do you plan to conquer the world by using Lucky Rabbit’s feet or some other crazy idea? (This is probably one of the biggest questions on this application as it lets you tell us about you.) A: I had a very good relationship with Doctorhoo and OSD in FFXIV:ARR. We had a very successful game launch and between our two communities built a very large and impressive presence on the server Diabolos. Although do to the unfortunate nature of game developers today, SE was unable to provide enough content to keep our leadership satisfied and active and we closed our FFXIV division and merge about 90 still active members who still wanted to keep progressing with an active and familiar leadership into OSD. This went well for a time. Unfortunately unforeseen by myself or Doctorhoo, several active members of our community became overzealous and decided once they could not get the control they wanted in OSD to move back to the Bad Wolves old FC and use that to further their own selfish gains without the direct oversight of Bad Wolves leadership. I admit that I myself was played for a fool, very much like Doctorhoo had warned me of due to the deteriorating relationship between our communities because of subterfuge being enacted by several now ex-members of our community. I tried my best to stay as unbias as possible due to the heightened level of defensiveness of Doctorhoo and the at the time FFXIV leadership in Bad Wolves. This uneasiness was further enhanced by the very unwelcoming behavior of the Guild Wars 2 leadership in OSD. Which our community did its best to look past. In the end, after Bad Wolves had a achieved top 3 placement in the world raiding achievements in FFXIV. The Bad Wolves FFXIV leadership began a attack to takedown the Bad Wolves Gaming community Voice Server and use the opportunity to sever the Free Company and its members from the community. This was met with some success, most of our members in FFXIV did not have access to our community services outside the game and only knew what information they were fed by the rogue leadership. Although the now stolen FC and membership did not last more than a few weeks to months, it was still a painful loss to be betrayed by those who we unbiasedly did our best to support and help usher to success. TL;DR - Bad Wolves Gaming harbors no ill will towards our friends and family in OSD. We had a great relationship before unscrupulous rogues mislead and for the most part successfully sabotaged our friendship. I hope to rekindle some old friendships and get back to supporting the OSD community and further enriching the experience that both our communities share. Q 11: Is bacon awesome? Hey Fate. WB, since chatting with you on Discord for a little. It's been awhile. Glad to see you around and as you can see we have a new look from 3 years ago...lol. Regarding GW2, I believe our GW2 Chapter just kinda dried up and dissapeared, so I don't know what exactly happened there, might have been a bad timing thing back then.
