Refugee Introduction

Hi, my name is Henali. Level 2 Cleric at the moment. That will soon change though.

Been gaming since infancy it seems like. Played D&D the first time when I was 8 years old. I still remember the awe I felt when, creeping along the side of a hill, a dragon flew over me. *Shudder* I've been hooked ever since.

Been playing MMO's since Eq first came out. Failed out of college, due in large part because they didnt put a warning label on the box saying it was more addicting that cocaine.

Was in the "Corps" for a while but when a 7 foot guy hits you with a giant Q-tip and you fall off a footbridge onto your head, it tends to end your illustrious career as a grunt.

Been playing for 2 days now (Don't worry guys, Came in off the road, Plan on playing consistantly). I really like how the game turned out. It has it's own problems (inherant in every MMO) but seems to have gotten alot of the things I noticed in BETA worked out.

I love to hang out and chill and enjoy a cold beer with friends. Seems to me you sound like to kind of gang that does that sort of thing.

Ill be playing mostly nights until I move into my own place pretty soon. I look forward to meeting all of you. And since I'm a cleric I'll have no problems finding friends.

Hehe, JK. yndro and I are good pals. Anyways, welcome to our home. If you don't mind me asking, how did you come to hear of us? Tell us your story.

I'd like to accredit my hearing about you guys to my phenominal, Elf-liek hearing. But alas, twas only Ronyel, a good friend of mine who sent me a map to your gates. He regailed me with stories of your kindness here.

Besides, Ronyel and I go way (WAY) back. Been gaming with his scrawny bum for going on 10 years. I still remember when he got EQ and we were campin Hill Giants on Kunark. Or gaming in his garage.

The philosophy of this guild is a breath of fresh air. And as I told Sook yesterday, the game seems to cater a bit more to the needs of the casual gamer. All in all I think I've found a place I want to be for a while and I hope you'll have me.

Henali is indeed a good friend of mine. As he has said, we have been gaming together for quite some time. Some of my favorite gaming memories are with him. I believe he will be a great addition to the guild

 

Don't pay attention to the bumps on my chest (does jedi mind trick, "There's nothing to see here"). All my dude names were taken (and I like to look at my backside while i'm running)

I am a registered sleeze in the fair state of Georgia (who isn't), so if you find me a little slow on the uptake just slap me a few times so I stop staring at my own bum.

Of course I had to start playing the weekend of Easter. 4 days down and no guildies in sight. Was like a ghost town. Cept Yndrofian who seemed to be on ALL the dang time.

Level 3 Rank 3 so far. I'll be on around 11:00 to 11:30 tonight so those who are around, me and Ronyel's alt will be kickin it up.

Henali, as a reminder, when you get invited into the ingame guild you will want to create an alias: /alias ;gu /gu [Applicant]

this way when you speak in guild chat people will know that you are an applicant. This will be a great way for our members to get to know you!

though i would suggest: /alias ;a [applicant]

for 2 reasons

1. if you make alts in the future you may want the ;gu for that alias

2. you only need to use the alias in guild chat, so you dont need the /gu cause youll be in guild chat already... that and ;a is quicker and easier
and 'a' stands for alias... easy to remember

 

For someone who's "Always On" you seem to be invisible or something. Hehe. Figures, I pick the one day to crash and actually sleep and that's the night I could have gotten an invite. Poo...
