. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. I'm interested in joining your guild for the game, Black Desert Online. I play under the family name BRUTUS7 with the character names of Ancient_Wyrm (50 wizard), Jade_Kirin (35 tamer), Chaotic_Rage (33 Berserker ), and Midnight_Venom (25 Sorceress ). I play on the Orwin server, mainly serendia 01. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I'm 42 years old, I'm a supervisor at a welding company. My girlfriend and I have 3 dogs, and 3 cats. I enjoy woodworking, chainsaw carving, sports of all kinds, and of course PC gaming. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I'm looking for an organized guild, that can teach me different aspects of the game. I'm also interested in the siege wars, and pvp as an end game. I enjoy meeting and playing with new people that I can learn from as well as help out when needed. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. In all honesty I Googled Black desert guild recruiting and this was one that came up and looked to be the most organized and appealing. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. All times are Eastern: Mon-Thurs 5pm till 9pm /Friday 5pm til midnight or ??? /Saturday and Sunday no set periods of time just off and on when available(usually in the 4 hour a day range). Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Zelda, (Hear me out before you laugh to hard) Zelda was a fun and challenging game when I was young and I was amazed out how deep the story and world was. It was fun to see your charters abilities change by going farther down the rabbit hole. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I mainly just play PC games my Steam account has almost 500 games on it. But I also own a ps4 but I really only use it for sports games or exclusives that I think I will like. Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. My favorite genre has always been action rpgs, I think MMOs are great because you get to play that same genre together with friends and explore things together, and also work as a team. Ive played Diablos, Torchlights, Van Helsings, Path of exile, Legends of the cryptids. I played Ultima Online for 12 years (consistently for 8 years, and then casually when the shards started dying out). Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. PvE is probably my favorite part of the game. I enjoy taking down a boss and finding out what the loot gods have in store for me. Exploration is probably second on the list because I am a very graphics first type of person who loves to see the creative world's, and monsters that people have created. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. As of now I'm really enjoying Black Desert and will probably stick with this game for awhile. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I will be as active on forums and Teamspeak as I possibly can. I think coordination of guild events is a must have, so that everyone is on the same page. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I have read the agreement, and only want to make the guild stronger. I've always conducted myself in a honorable way, and would never jeopardize the integrity of the guild. I also don't bring drama to the guild, and respect my fellow guild mates. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. Whatever the guild asks me to do, if I'm able to help I will do it. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. In the past guilds I've been apart of we would either have a random number generator that we would use as a dice mini game to see who would get the item, or have a list of guild names that would take turns on receiving uber items. Whatever way the guild has decided and agreed upon is all that matters though. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A.Bacon is amazing, often test I'll wake up in a Bacon induced sweat thinking of Bacon wrapped Bacon Sandwiches.
Nice application! Your permissions are all set so I would recommend starting here: http://silverdragons-lair.net/showthread.php?25065-New-Members-Read-This-First! To get an invite ingame, the following are officers: Xanz (GM) Sampia Kaedian Raizela Prambalina Note, I (Kaedian) won't be online for a week. With the way the game's communication system is, it's probably easier to pop onto TS (that info is in the Read This First post) and see if anyone online can poke an officer since even if folks are online, they may be afk-fishing etc. As the post says, we use Balenos 2 for any official guild stuff (invites/missions etc). Welcome aboard!
