Of those 360 active members, some 80+ had logged in within the previous 24 hour period and at that point only 18 had signed up on the Doodle (pure coincidence that there were also 18 replies to the thread at that point as well). As I said previously, even a statement that none of the offered times work for any particular individual is better than nothing said at all. 18/86 is pretty bad imo, 18/360 ... Seriously? I've been in lousy guilds, we probably all have at one point or another, but this one is far from that. Not replying at all, is akin to being silent when someone asks a question in a guild chat. Saying "I don't know" is more helpful to everyone than being quiet and saying nothing. Silence and apathy kills guilds, even the best of them. I'm looking forward to the TS version of the OSD Con thing that I know I'll probably never get a chance to attend. Hopefully Seldonia will be there too and I can vocally mock his choice in hockey teams.

Anyway, Bale has put forth the effort to organize this, the least any of us can do is simply reply yay or nay. I'll get off my soapbox, for now.

 

Well, truthfully I did put off posting on the poll. I was kinda of like who hell cares when I might be available anyway? Maybe other guild members feel the same too. Less being about antipathy, and more about feeling slightly daunted by guild size.

With all this guild has to offer THAT is what you're going to go with? *sigh*

I am ashamed of my team but I know one day, possibly the day after I die, that they will once again reign supreme and conquer all that stand opposed to them. Until then I will sit and pine for the days of glory some 30 years ago. You can not mock me, for I already mock myself in regard to my choice of team.

As for the meeting mentioned in this thread. I can not wait for it to happen. I want to hear all your voices and funny accents. I for one do not have an accent and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying.

 

I've put my availabilities down. Truthfully, though, I'll probably be able to make any day as long as it's 8 pm or later. Like Doc said earlier, Friday nights have been good for the FF XIV division. Whenever is good. Should be a fun time.

 

My times are in, took me a bit to verify but the guilt tripping definitely helped force the issue. :angel:

I think part of the challenge is that some people (like myself) rarely look outside the forum for the game I am playing. I will put a vote in and try to make the meeting if it hasn't already occurred. I am sure you guys are dying to hear about how super cool Guild Wars 2 still is.

 

Actually, until recently, I thought the GW2 division was totally dead! I did like that game, for the RP stuff, although after the megaserver I wasn't sure where to go, and the guild system seemed confusing and I'd always end up in guilds full of people representing other guilds :x But yeah!! I wanna hear about GW2!

OK folks! We've settled on a date and time that works for 23/31 folks as indicated on the doodle.

Sunday the 21th @ 9pm EST

This will take place on TeamSpeak. Division leaders will speak about their division, site admins will talk a bit about where we are in terms of the site and guild as a whole, and we'll have a general Q&A.

Please spread the word among your friends and guild mates. Don't count on people seeing this on their own, we need word of mouth to get the word out!

Septubre the 21th!! I'm so excited!! =D Maybe we'll finally get to find out who the OSD guild leader is! I bet it's a talking brain in a jar! Or maybe a giant talking face, like the leader dude from Power Rangers!

For the Q&A in particular, will this be a thing where we put you guys on the spot and you guys say "We're not talking about that yet, but look forward to future announcements for more information" or "My lawyer has advised me not to talk to anyone and not to answer any questions regarding this matter" or will we submit questions and comments ahead of time? :3
