OSD General Assembly Part Deux

Howdy all!


OK folks! I dare say it was a success! We talked about a bunch of stuff from general guild wide stuff to individual divisions as well as OSD-Con!

We've settled on a date and time that works for 23/31 folks as indicated on the doodle.

Sunday the 21st @ 9pm EST

This will take place on TeamSpeak. Division leaders will speak about their division, site admins will talk a bit about where we are in terms of the site and guild as a whole, and we'll have a general Q&A.

Please spread the word among your friends and guild mates. Don't count on people seeing this on their own, we need word of mouth to get the word out!

I'm wondering if now would be a good time to start organizing the next Gen Assembly (possibly for September)?

For those who are new, or need a refresher, a general assembly is exactly what it sounds like, it's a guild wide event in which all members are encouraged to attend via TeamSpeak. We'll discuss the state of the guild, each division will talk a bit about the state of each game, as well as any other general topics to discuss (like how awesome OSD-Con was!).

Last time was a huge success!

Is there any interest in organizing this?

I'm in! September will be a little crazy with the start of the fall semester, and I totally turn into a pumpkin at 10pm Eastern, but I'll be there as long as I can!

I'll have to vote in like a month... XD I'm starting school again soon and have no idea when I'll be available until at least a few weeks from now!

Also, I'm counting on everyone to help spread the word and get participation from your division members. I can't possibly promote this on my own throughout the whole guild so let's try and make this thing big.

If you see someone either in game or on TS, mention it so they can participate and vote.

Maybe we can get a supermod to make sweeping announcements in each division forum like last time?

 

We've been running Officer Meetings at least 1-2 a month now for FFXIV Division and Division Free Company Meetings Monthly or Every other Month. Just let us know when. Friday Evenings seem to be a good day.

 

Any time is good for me as long as the decision is made early enough for me to plan ahead.
