1. What brought you to our website? The catergorial Guild Matchup thread on the DDO forum. 2. Why might you be interested in joining out community? My reason for joining a guild in general was because I'm a bit on the shy side and hubby suggested joining a guild since I've been hesitant to blindly PUGing. I like the idea of having a static pool of support and a place to start forming gaming friendships. My reason for laying my sword down for The Order of the Silver Dragon was that I felt a kinship to the purpose and mission of the guild. I am looking for a mentally mature but fun loving group that doesn't mindthat I'm new to the game and don't know the quests and will be patient as I learn. I don't plan to be uber, a zerger or a power gamer, but enjoy the game for it's challenges and a bit of RPing. 3. Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I'm not completely green. I have had experience with WOW and COH (lower levels) when my husband had accounts, but this is the first game that I've had my own account and a separate computer. With DDO I played a pure ranger up to lvl3 on hubby's account and now on my own account I have a Ran2/Rog2. No experience with higher level content in any MMO, and have rarely grouped quests excepted duo'ing with my husband. (Hubby has been playing DDO since beta) 4. Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources? Yes, I find the website quite user friendly. 5. What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about you main character? I like to play self sufficent characters, even if that means she's not maxed out in her class. I like to create my characters based on the personality traits I believe them to have and their story. So my characters might not be the most optimal builds (even though my husband likes to keep an eye on my builds so I don't go too gimp.) my main: Gitta Koppercorn, 2Ran/2Rog elf, planning to go Ranger for the rest, tempest build Gtta is at the same time fluid and hesitant. Her shamrock locks are pulled back into a ponytail for practical purposes. Her lavender eyes dart around the room noting all exits, should the need arise. She carries herself with the stillness of the forest and the alertness of a deer. She is the loner among her sisters. 6. Describe you style of play. Since I'm new to the quests I tend to explore EVERYTHING, no barrel left unsmashed, no beast left alive, no secret no left unspotted, no trap unlocked. I don't mind skipping stuff after I've run it a few times, but the first time around I'm going to do every experience I can squeeze out of it. I love to RP on forums but not confident in my gaming skills to carry it over too much in the quests, outside an occasional phrase or two. 7. What time of day do you typically play? How often? I mainly play in the evening after my dauther goes to bed (8pm EST) to about 11pm. Not every night (I have to take a night off to watch LOST, heh). I can be made available during the day Sat. and Sun. for a scheduled event, but as a mommy of a 3-yo I tend to get more daughter-aggro then my husband. 8. Are you affliated with any other guilds? I am not affliated with any guilds, though I do have hubby-affliation and will continue to quest with my husband when we are both free (The only guild he is affliated with on Agro is Mortal Voyage but I do not run with his permadeath characters, only characters he's created speciifically to run with me. 9. Which of the characters listed in your forum signature do you play the most? I play Gitta the most. My Paladin is only a level 2 and I haven't taken my bard out of the gate yet (just wanted to make sure I got he name for future adventuring and my RP storyline). 10. We are an Argonnessen Server guild... Do you play on this server? Yes it's the only server I have characters on thus far. Thank you for your consideration. Hey there! Far as i can tell, you look like a prime canditate for our humble little order. Though I'm no longer included in the DDO portion of the guild, there are plenty of folks that can show you around. If your shy, you might have to work past that pretty quick, because we are a talkative bunch, i warn ya. Other's will likely be in here to say hi and chime in with their 2 cents within the next couple days, but just a word of advice. If you see a guy goes by the name of Bee, he's lying....

Welcome to the site Rose! I went ahead and approved your Citizenship request so now you have a whole lot more access to the rest of the site. Please especially take note of the calander and the events system. When properly used, these tools can eliminate the need for Pugging alltogether. Your application looks stellar and you've followed all the steps perfectly. A couple of the other officers may have a question or two so I'll wait till they've had their say before getting ya in the guild. If you have any questions, you have but to ask. P.S. indeed welcome to the gates! just fyi, we do not have much RP going on in DDO as it is right now, the game mechanics is not superb for RP'ing. BUT if you like some light RP'ing I suggest tha tyou start a thread here on the forums once you get full acces - I'm sure there's a coupple of ppl here who wouldnt mind a weekly light RP session or the like anyway, hopefully you like connecting with ppl on the forums, because we do that a lot here in OSD, as you can tell from the # of posts, and it really binds us together, gives us more shared jokes and discussions and simply to get to know your fellow guildmates see, I can ramble on as well again, welcome to the gates, I like your application and I'm hoping that even with my off-houred gametime we'll be able to meet up ingame at some point - vra
Yeah, the RPing is a throw back to life before marriage and family when I used to participate in a medieval reenactment group called Adrian Empire (similar to SCA except with real swords) and as a volunteer street character in the local Ren faire. "Hello, my name is Erin, and I am a recovering ren geek" "Hi Erin" I did notice that the DDO forums don't seem to has the same amount of in character conversations that I've noticed on other MMO's boards (especially CoH) which I was really surprised, considering. I'm addicated to Clankenbeard and Lessahs videos. I especially have to watch "Mucking about" once a week because it make me smile. "To the Leaky Lobster!" ::giggle::

@ nykon, yeah that rp thread died for a couple reasons, mostly though due to release @rose, yer a lost fan and will opt out of ddo to watch it, which means yer ok by me!!

Done and Done! Not making an officer of Ragnok, but open gates wide fer ya Rose! With your response I see you'll be active within our forums and thats about all we ask really. Oh, and Bee doesn't lie, he cries a bit now and then but neher a finer Scot will ye find! All ya have to do know is throw your characters into our roster, homepage top left menu. Then just find an officer in-game for the guild invite. Clicking on the who panel and sorting by guild will get ya an OSD member who can let one of us know you're on and rdy fer an invite.
