Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. Currently playing FFXIV and BDO. Rhotan is the name. Primal- Leviathan on FFXIV. Orwen in BDO. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Known to take a toothpick to a two-by-four fight and come out victorious. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I am a member of the nefarious Obsidian Dragon Gaming Clan. And, my brethren are in your ranks. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. That would be OD-Blooded. Your information is now all over the net... Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. EST couple of hours at least a night after 6pm and weekends. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. That is a tough one. Dark Age of Camelot for the RvR. Age of Conan for the combat system. FFXIV for innovations. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I have been playing MMO's since Dark Age of Camelot's first few months. DAoC, WoW (gag), Pirates of the Carribean, Age of Conan, FFXIV, BDO Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. I like it all.... I like it all... just you can't get it all in the same place most of the time. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. I am watching Camelot Unchained and Star Citizen unfold in dramatic fashion.... Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I am somewhat active. Already have TS, Vent, Discord.... Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I do. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. If I am available, I will be there. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Weapons break, shields shatter, coin is spent.... friends are vastly more valuable than any item one could acquire in a game. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A.Bacon is AWESOME! Unless, of course, if you practice a faith which prohibits the consumption of bacon and pork in general. However, being a baptist, no hog is safe if properly prepared. It manifests in many forms, just depends on what dream I am having.
