    Howdy everyone!

What brought you to our website? [/COLOR]

A: Official forum thread in guild forums. I liked the description, especially the line "They are known across many gaming servers for taking the high road when situations arise, and they pride themselves in the knowledge that they will always strive to help others.

Q: This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Tell us about yourself:

A: I first and foremost a dedicated father and husband. My wife and kids go to bed on the early side so allows for me to have some time for evening game time. I also focus on my job during the week and travel some (but travel with my laptop!). I spend a lot of free time on the weekends outside and training for ultra endurance runs.

Q: Please let us know what your @handle is (your character will be called xxxxxx@yourhandle, for example mine is @bezza1985). Many people will have a different @handle compared to their Account name on this website, so knowing your @handle will let us know that it's you in-game!:

    A: @waydesol is handle

Q: All members are expected to uphold respectful conduct when communicating with other players and guildmates. This applies to in-game situations, our website and on guild/NWO related websites and message boards. Intolerance for others based upon religion / sexuality / gender / ethnicity / etc. is not welcome. We are a guild of HONOR and INTEGRITY, and we reflect that in all public forums. The general rule of thumb is to treat people how you would like to be treated in return. How do you feel about this?

A:I am in total agreement and how I approach all interactions and decisions in my life.

Q: OSD is generally a "casual, do it all" guild, meaning we welcome players from all playstyles and don't limit our focus to one playstyle in particular. We welcome PvPers, PvEers, Roleplayers, Crafters, etc. For example, while we may offer weekly raids, we are not a hardcore raiding guild that requires you to raid 5 or 6 nights a week. We also do not consider any one playstyle to be more important than another, all members of OSD are equal. For example, a hardcore PvPer will never be considered "more valuable" to the guild than a casual Roleplayer would be. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic?

A: This is what was appealing as real life > than anything else so hard to 'mortgage' my time dedicated to 'x' amount of raids a week. I am more on the PVE side but like to dabble and learn on PVP side.

Q: With the previous question in mind...We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short a particular class, or just need to fill up an empty group spot. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic?

A: I spend a lot of time playing The Old Republic and often raid as a tank do to need. I always level each of the 'trinity' style gameplays to help serve the need (though not sure how well I really heal!). Not only is it helpful to the guild/group, but also helps learn more on gameplay and limitations. Great example is my main is Sentinel on TOR, but we were short tanks so I had to fill role as main tank for few months. When I finally got back to my main, I took much different approach to taking 'aggro' or 'hate' versus go all out and who cares if tank cannot hold aggro.

Q: We do ask that you stay active on the guild website as much as possible. We don't expect anybody to become a forum junkie by any means. But we do expect our members to cast their votes on any polls we put up, give input in any posts we make asking for opinions, as well as chime in with your thoughts when other members open discussions. What are your thoughts on this?

A: I understand and am good with this. Helps to share strategy / ideas and good venue to do so.

Q: We have found that guild members have a better gaming experience if they use the forums and the events calender. This allows you to get game information and join guildies in quests as your RL time permits. Do you intend on being active on our website forums and Events Calendar (event calendar for NWO is coming soon!)?

A: Having played other MMO's in the past this is essential to planning and communicating so all are on same page (so everyone is timely and well prepared).

Q: Once you learn how, we would like you to create events or RSVP for other scheduled events as your RL schedule permits. What are your thoughts on this?

A: Great idea to keep guild engaged and to focus on more immersion as a team.

Q: Are you willing to give priority to guild-sponsored events?

    A:Yes

Q: Nearly all of our events are scheduled in the afternoon or evening EST/CST/PST. Events done outside of this time frame will require initiative on the parts of interested members in organizing them. Are you okay with this?

A: I am in CST and cannot attend scheduled raids / events until normally 8pm CST (kids bed time). That is not always set in stone but general time for me during week (not counting down time when kids are doing something else and I have a little time to log in!).

Q: Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started?

A: I have been playing MMO's for over 12 years. I have played : Star Wars Galaxies (since beta!), Star Wars Old Republic (main MMO atm), DC Universe Online (big Star Wars and DC Fan!), Everquest, Final Fantasy XI (ton of time in this one, til kids were born), Lord of the Rings Online, Conan, Aion (played this a lot), Rift, Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, Vanguard, Tera (I want to like it!),and never World of Warcraft (not sure why..).

Q: What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about what will be your main character:

A: Always Archer/Ranger class :  In TOR my main is Sentinel. Currently in NeverWinter I have a 60 TR and working on Cleric and Guardian Fighter. If/when Archer comes that will be my main! My TR is 60 and in mostly T2 gear (with Ioun Stone at 25). My Leathercraft is at 19 and a half (almost there) and others are at/around level 10.

Q: If you violate ANY rules defined within the gaming EULA you will be removed from this community. You ok with this?

    A: Yes!

Q: What time of day do you typically play? How often?

A: Early mornings are trash time since I wake up early (4am CST) and my main play time where I can do group activities are post 8pm CST during week. Weekend nights are hit and miss depending on what family has planned but we are never out that late.

Q: Are you affiliated with any other guilds in NWO or other games?

A:I am in the Silver Order in SW ToR on Harbringer server. No other guilds for any other games.

Q: How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you?

A: I have a good, strong moral compass to start with. I am family guy that puts that above all else. I enjoy my work and my past time of ultra running. Getting to be a part of a guild around a particular game is a great relaxing venue and I always keep it that way. I do not get involved in politics nor dramas as I enjoy a good life and make the best of everything. When I have a job to do in game I ensure I understand the strategies and focus to get the job done. I also enjoy helping others in what ever way I can.

Your app looks good. All permission groups have been accepted. You should now have full access to the site.
