I would like everyone to take a few moments and talk a little bit about our new site in this thread. For those of you who haven't read Seldonia's RP post about it, stop reading this and click here! What do you love about the new site? What do you hate about it? Is there a neat feature you would love to be added? What's your favorite theme? (You can change those at the very bottom of the page. Default one is set to "Silver Darker") What questions do you have about it? What suggestions do you have to improve it? Does Seldonia smell? My team and I are still tweaking settings and features. --on one of the xenforo sites we were looking at when we first started this process, the menu/navigation bar (forums/roster/followed threads/etc) always stayed on top. i liked that A LOT. but the site currently doesnt do that --i do really like your terrible terrible test... but i still think the darker silver is 'best' for default --can we change the font... the current one looks really pixleated
What do you love about the new site? It looks sleek and sexy. Lots of dragons, I approve. I like how there is a large "JOIN OSD" button on the side, which should make it pretty easy for new recruits to join up. What do you hate about it? It's so pretty that it makes me feel bad about my own appearance. Is there a neat feature you would love to be added? More of a tie-in to the Discord channel would be cool. Maybe a "#forumpost" channel in Discord that alerts when a post is made in the forums? What's your favorite theme? (You can change those at the very bottom of the page. What suggestions do you have to improve it? Maybe a "newest post" or similar popup or header, so that when you arrive on the forum page it's easy to see where activity is taking place. A weekly "topic" thread, sort of like a one-book-one-city or one-school kind of idea, so you could have people from all over OSD chatting about a particular topic. Does Seldonia smell? Not if you hose her down with Febreze Clean Linen scent. Febreze: Eliminate scents that you've gone noseblind to.

What do you love about the new site? I think I joined after the changes so I really don't know what to say. What do you hate about it? I'm not too picky with website design so I have no complaints. Is there a neat feature you would love to be added? Links to cute dog pictures? What's your favorite theme? The white background option is a bit easier on the eyes. What questions do you have about it? None at the moment. What suggestions do you have to improve it? Hopefully things are easy to find and information is organized clearly and in appropriate links. Does Seldonia smell? Doesn't matter unless she's running around drenched in perfume. In that case I'll avoid being in the same room.
What Yndro sees i that pick is not what mine looks like when I log in. I see in the pic Pixely shadows behind the main text in each heading. Is that what you are referring to Yndro? Because I don't see it as it is in the picture when I'm on the site. Perhaps a graphical setting?

if it looks fine to you, no worries. it looks a lot better on my home pc anyway. (i was at work when i posted this yesterday) :blush:
I haven't used it much, but right away I didn't like how the sections seemed to blend together. I prefer Vastiner's terrible test because it keeps the dragons which I didn't see in all of them, plus the sections are easy for me to pick out, not as blended. And, I like the pretty blue.
That's the glorious thing about the new system... You can pick your prefered template from the pick list. =)
