A: Dungeons and Dragons Online Q 2: Do you currently have characters playing in game? If so, What is the name of your in game character and what server are they on? A: Allaurah / Argonnessen Q 3: Guilds can serve many roles, and as with most things, expectations matter. In order to get a better feel for whether this is a good fit, we would like to know what you look for in a guild. A: a good setting to play with other like minded fantasy lovers of the D@D / Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms worlds, who keep real world politics out of the game. I'm a libertarian, that's all i am going to say on that matter (unless someone else brings it up, i won't be because i prefer to smash ogre faces) Q 4: When and How often do you usually play? This is so we know when to look for you in game and get you in the Guild. (Please add your time zone in the answer) A: a couple days during the week, mostly on the weekend unless i'm at work (truck driver by trade so it does happen sometimes) or if i am taking my kid to the park or to Urban Air to jump on trampolines and the obstacle courses (my 8 year old boy loves it) Q 5: Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played them? Please share one of your favorite memories in a MMO you have played. A: Started with Dark Age of Camelot, still love the game, it could be so much if EA would get their crap together, or at least make a sequel. Played world of warcraft off and on for 15 years when the expansions didn't suck, loved Warhammer Age of Reckoning (before Mark Jacobs went on vacation with his head permanantly up his ass), and i still play DC Universe online. Q 6: What is the best game you have ever played and why? A: tough question, i've played so many i can't remember them all. Non MMO games i would say i loved the first Dawn of War series. I guess in hind sight my best game will always be Dark Age of Camelot, the game that popped my cherry in the MMO genre. Q 7: Are there any upcoming games you're interested in playing? A: unless its a Warhammer 40k MMO, not particularly. At the age of 42, I'm a bit jaded when it comes to games. i have seen too many release early and fall flat on their faces and these days most games want a quick infusion of cash and then the developers abandon them and leave you in limbo. Q 8: OSD advertises on various gaming websites, Facebook, Twitter, and in the games that we are playing. The following questions will help us know what formats are working and where we can improve. Who or What brought you to our Gates? A: I saw a character named Irelya and inquired about an active guild, i don't much care for playing MMO's by myself, if i wanted to play alone i would stick to turn based or RTS strategey games. Q 9: There are many ways to engage and get the full guild experience with OSD. How often do you see yourself using the Forums / Discord rather than in-game to interact with the community? A: i think i can do discord, i have used a headset on occasion and used to use ventrilo to communicate in pvp in WoW, so i am open to the idea. Q 10: Please tell us a little about yourself. No need to be too explicit. We don’t need your home address or shoe size. Let us know about your hobbies if you have them. Do you have family? Pets? Work? Do you plan to conquer the world by using Lucky Rabbit’s feet or some other crazy idea? (This is probably one of the biggest questions on this application as it lets you tell us about you.) A: I work alot of hours as a local truck driver, wife and kid, as stated previously i have an 8 year old boy and i would like to get him involved in the fantasy world, infact i bought him an easy entry level D@D board game for christmas just to cut his teeth on. Yeah i have pets, which is an understatement, i live in a zoo with 4 dogs and 2 cats. Q 11: Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A: Bacon is ok, i can't eat it crispy, and i don't like crunchy bacon anyway, gotta have some chew in it. not saying i want it raw, but chewy is perfect. Don't go looking at me to put it in milkshakes and pies or ice cream, people take that to the extreme weird. NOT ME.
