I was wondering if any of you do pnp D&D with openrpg and stuff?

 

hey, xeno... if i remember correctly you said you finished your beta already...

did you ever get into the market place? how many times did you haul-butt through waterworks to get some more xp and loot?

 

I went through waterworks lots of times, probably 10+ because I would get near the end and we would get a new member and we would go back and do it for them. I went through the entire thing I think 3 times. I did redwillow twice and got a +1 thundering shortsword and a +2 rapier, I also bought a thundering rapier +1 from the fare trades I got to the last level to shan-to-kor but that's when entering the marketplace was bugged so I didn't get to finish it. I think my favorite levels were the ones like the pirate one where you sabotage the boat, and redwillow because they're outside and they are really fun, especially the trolls and ogres we fought ^^ .

 

yeah i had that happen a lot... was it worth it to go back and help the new guy through it? cause sometimes ya just wanna finish the dungeon...

 

of course it's worth it, I made some friends, got some loot and xp, and the new guy got through his part so we could finish, I had people redo almost all the beginning quests so I could get to waterworks at a good level, so I just do the same for other people I meet, it gives me something to do and we can have fun playing. That's the point of DDO anyway, getting with friends, and making new friends, the quest doesn't really matter as long as you have fun doing the quest.

sure, I just typed it out of habit, my character in DDO is probably gonna be named Johan so I could resubmit my application if that name isn't already taken.

 

Johan....is that pronounced Yo-han or Joe-Han?
