Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. I am playing FFXIV and am on the diabolos server with the name Ku Sina, I have the PC version of the game. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I am 43 years old, been married now 23 years to my soul mate as well as having a beautiful 23 year old daughter. I have been on computers since I was 11 and playing video games since pong lol... I also enjoy playing my guitar for some unplugged time plus that helps me not want to take over the world .. I mostly enjoy playing RPG games, when it comes to mmo style games I am either a Tank or dps I have never been big on healing I feel it's too much pressure. I have been playing ff since ff1 and any rpg i could get my hands on loving this new incarnation.. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I am looking for a Fun, chill, and happy bunch of people i can call my second family, i have been in Quite a few guild and fc's and left due to lack of empathy or they just had waaaay to many problems and couldn't work em out. The things OSD offers are things i have been looking for. I love to farm, be silly and generally just have a great time and i believe can bring a great mood and fun loving feel plus if someone doesn't want to farm... I’m your guy lol. Q - What lead you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which Friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic Magnetism?) A. I honestly just world transferred and spent a good hour looking through lodestone forums for a FC that i thought would fit me and here i am Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include Times and Time zones. A. I play PST and i am usually on from 4:30 am to 7 am PST then around 1 pm to 10 pm PST and this is pretty much every day.. Weekends are a bit sporadic because sometimes i try and do things with my wife. Otherwise if its raids or dg runs she usually very understands Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I used to play a lot on PS3 then I found all the games I wanted on PC lol.. that is my long winded way of saying I only play on PC Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. My first mmo was honestly WoW i played that about 6-7 years every class all level 100 then recently I just got tired of their no new ideas, I played wildstar a little, then played ESO waiting for heavenward to release. now currently all my energy goes into FF14. Q. What is your favorite part of a MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, Raiding, Community, Roleplaying, Crafting, Achievements, Exploration, etc) A. for me the best things for me and most people think I’m a lunatic.. i LOVE to farm and I love doing the professions first. then i worry about leveling lol.. so that way when it comes time to running dg's and raids I can usually be self sufficient in making my own supplies. That way I do not have to bother others Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Nothing that i have seen or read about.. so for now unless they make another expansion for ff14 i have no plans for another mmo Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. Honestly, I would love to use the forums but i want to be honest.. it will take a little getting used to cause every other guild or fc I ever had or was in.. never utilized the forums or forum calendars which saddened me.. But I will gladly learn how to use the forums and the calendar for events. I may have an occasional questions but I am always willing to learn Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I FULLY and whole heartedly agree with the rules and will follow them to the best of my ability.. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I have no issues helping out if i am high enough ilvl or high enough level. I will gladly help out in every way I can.. always have always will Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. I believe Long time raiders who've put time and energy in with the guild running progression.. They should get higher priority on items. as opposed to me who's first or second time in this raid, a item drops that would be useful for me and also useful for someone who has been raiding with the guild for months.. I would just let them have it. Pretty much simple as that in my mind. Q. What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Bacon is awesome. we put bacon in our meatloaf, blend it in our hamburgers. we find ways to add it to our recipes wherever we can nom nom nom.. ok wiping up drool...
