Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. FF14 on PC, Kraeg En is my character on Diabolos. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I'm a Computer Support technician for a large retailer. When I'm not working or travelling I like to play videogames oddly enough. I also majored in Game design and Development and even won some awards at E3! Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. You guys are one of the bigger guilds on the server and I don't want to Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. A post on the Offical FF14 forums Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. Mon-fri 6-11 CST and then whenever I'm free on the weekends. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. I could seriously write an essay for this. Short version is Guild Wars 1. I played in some of the top guilds in the entire game in the GvG mode and was one of the top 100 mesmers in the entire game. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I've played everything from WoW to BDO, I downed the lichking in ICC before the %damage raid buff went out. I like to raid and hope to end up in a static once I end up capping. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Raiding. By far. I also do enjoy crafting and gathering a fair bit since I can watch netflix at the same time. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. No Man's Sky is what I'm currently looking forward to. Oh and of course Overwatch. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. The first thing I do when i get on my computer is load up TS and my current game (which is now ff14), so that shouldn't be a problem. As for the forums I can just add it to my list of tabs that open automatically when i start my browser. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yep Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I have never played pvp in FF14 and don't really have any desire to do so. But if its a raid spot to fill and I have time I'd be in Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. That depends on a bunch of things. if it's a huge upgrade for someone I think that'd be first. Need before greed obviously, and if multiple people need it roll for it? Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Not really :| Cheese is much better
