Johnathan likes roleplay, MMOs, and gamin' in general. Johnathan is th'biggest Final Fantasy Fanboy inna world. Or would be if he had more money. Johnathan works as a delivery driver, and plans, one day, to utterly avoid in any way he can anything that involves 'ruling the world'. Too much paperwork-nyah. What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I was introduced to the Order via a couple of friends. I look for friendship, comraderie, and the occasional levelling assistance (not very necessary since I got a handle on the game, but it'd be nice every now and then) I can help out by sharing experiences, explaining systems and whatnot to the best of my knowledge, and by being a warm body in a hot dungeon (or raid, I'm not picky). Q - What lead you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which Friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic Magnetism?) A. Azhri Spiritwind, who inducted me into the Diabolus server's branch earlier this afternoon. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include Times and Time zones. A. Varies. Very much so. My job schedule alters week to week, and the rest of my schedule changes accordingly. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Final Fantasy VI. The rich wealth of lore and story available through the game, the emotional connection I developed to each and every member of the party, the sheer number of differences you can run into just based on -who- is in your party...and it even managed to throw in a romance sub-plot or three. Gods, I love that game.... Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. For now, due to lack of funds, strictly PC. Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I've played MMOs since WoW-Launch, 2005. I generally play tank-classes, though with FFXIV, I thought I'd start as a DPS, just to see if I could. I've played GW, GW2, Everquest, Warframe, LotRO, and TOR. Q. What is your favorite part of a MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, Raiding, Community, Roleplaying, Crafting, Achievements, Exploration, etc) A. Roleplaying, exploration, and crafting, in that order. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Not at the moment, no. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. To some extent, at the very least. With time, my involvement will likely grow, as I tend to be...not shy, but very anxious about new groups. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. Bring it on! If I got the time, you got the Graves. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Depends on the stats and class availability of the item. It ought to go to whoever can -use- it, and who can use it -best-. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Bacon is awesome, but I prefer pork sausage patties. Bacon manifests alongside said pork sausage patties alongside a plate of hot grits, eggs over easy, and a big, thick, buttery homemade biscuit. And now I'm hungry-nyah!
