Bone-weary and barely able to place one foot in front of the other, Adrias peered up the road towards the massive silver gates ahead as he leaned against a large oak tree. Knowing that his appearance was not the most pleasing of sights, he pondered what reaction the guards would have upon seeing him.

Finally reaching the main area of the gates, Adrias spotted a guard in gleaming silver armour patiently taking down names. Slowly and carefully, Adrias made his way towards the guard through the large crowd of refugees.

The guard notices the disheveled looking traveller and says, "Good day to you, sir. Please state your name and business with the Order of the Silver Dragons."

"I have come seeking shelter and to assist the Order with protecting the people of Cyre", Adrias responded.

After briefly speaking with Yndrofian and stating why I had gotten in touch with him in-game, he invited me join his group which had a spot open. I had the opportunity to group with Thalandor, Alatariel, Winterhawk, Yndrofian, and Goldev last night. (Hopefully I spelled all of your names correctly.) We attempted the Xorian Cipher and it was certainly both a humbling and eye-opening extravaganza!

To begin with, my character is a level 7, rank 3 rogue who is geared towards picking the locks of doors and chests as well as disabling the varied traps placed within dungeons that will harm those unaware. He is also trying to alter his appearance to be more roguish because he doesn't really look like a rogue...

My first experience with D&D was through the trilogy, Dragonlance Chronicles. After reading those three books, I purchased the D&D Player's Handbook and tried to find a D&D playing group but was unsuccessful. (Heh, my home town wasn't very big...) I have not had a chance to read any of the Eberron books but with DDO being based upon that realm, I will start looking into it.

Ok, enough of my rambling. I'm married with no children (that I know of). I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am on a shift work schedule so my play times are varied depending on what shift I am on.

Currently, I am on Day shifts which includes working 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday (like today!) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. I will be able to play a little earlier on Monday to Wednesday as I work from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The coming weekend is the Easter weekend and I will be out of town visiting friends and family from Thursday until Sunday. I hope to be back in the game on Sunday night but then I will be working the Evening shift from Monday to Friday.

Hopefully, I haven't confused all of you. I will answer any questions you may have and I look forward to adventuring with all of you.

I wanted to thank you for the assistance in helping me complete Delera's Tomb and the adventure in the Necromancer's Lair. There is nothing like turning into an inadvertent spell point sink for Ronyel and Hafin because of how much those Skeleton Arcus' liked to cover my body with arrows for no reason. :) I was also able to experience the power of ressurrection at the hands of Hafin because of it. Of course, the Arcane Skeletons and Delera herself truly let me have it at the end and I got to enjoy being ressurrected a second time! (Please remind me to not touch the Soul Locks...)

All in all, I have to say that thanks to Yndrofian, Ronyel, Meatgrinder, Hafin, and Tale, the completion of Delera's Tomb and the Return to Delera ended in success!

I hope to be on tomorrow evening between 7 and 8 p.m. EST. I look forward to grouping and meeting other members of the guild.

Ah ha! Thanks for the update on Meatgrinder. I wasn't entirely sure if he was a part of the guild or not. I didn't have a chance to examine everyone but just in case, I listed his name so as not to leave anyone out. :)

Very intriguing... New armour, eh? My curiousity is piqued. Thank you in advance for holding onto it for me. :)

Oh, were you able to successfully complete the Cult of the Six?

2 things, First is to Yndro, Yes, I read this post before tonight, lol. Just didnt remember the name, but the story itself I remmber.

Second is, Ive had the please to group with this rogue. And ANYONE who gives up a +3 Arantic Greatsword with nothing in return to the guild most "dashing" tank, well qualifies in my book to become a Dragon.

I think that Thalandor is the most dashing tank in the guild, but I guess I'm a bit biased.

    Hmm, where to start...

I was fortunate enough to enter Stormreach to find Yndrofian at the bank holding onto a new piece of armour for me. It was definitely a fashionable piece that altered the green colour depending on the lighting.

After donning the new armour, I was invited to adventure with Yndrofian, Hafin, Warmonger, Arenius, and Luki. We decided to help end the rein of Deathshadow, as he had been robbing the graves located in House Jorasco of their owners. I had another unfortunate encounter with the undead (exploding undead at that!) and somehow drew their ire and was lying on the ground unconscious when I was saved from another trip to the "other" side. We were able to lay both Deathshadow and the disturbed souls to rest.

From there, we decided to venture into House Kundarak and see if we couldn't help the dwarves determine what evil was lurking in the Caverns of Korromar. (I tell you, I am beginning to tire of zombies deciding to explode next to me...but I digress.)

We meticulously cleared each of the areas before arriving at the end to discover a most evil and ghastly creature. To say the least, it was a formidable battle and while we were able to eradicate the evil presence within the Caverns, it was not without some sacrifices. Luki was blasted continuously before finally succumbing to the onslaught, much to our dismay. Thankfully, Hafin was able to call upon his powers to bring back our Warforged ally (from wherever Warforged go upon death). In a hidden portion of the final cave, a chest beckoned us with great treasure. And what treasures there were! I have to admit, holding the Anarchaic Greatsword was a thrilling experience but knowing that Warmonger would make better use of it (and he mentioned that he would gladly take us through Vault of the Night Part 3 with it), I gladly handed it to him.

We reported to the dwarves that while the Caverns were now free of evil, there still seemed to be an overall pervasive feeling of evil, of something more sinister. Both Warmonger and Luki said their goodbyes as there were other matters they had to attend to. Yndrofian, Hafin, Arenius, and I decided to continue on and we were joined by Kileak (dang it, was that one "L" or two "L"'s?) and Calista.

We opted to give the Xorian Cipher another run and progressed to the Temple entrance with relative ease but not without some timely healing (because once again, I drew the ire of the undead and was blasted with spells and filled with arrows while being magically held in one spot). Upon entering, we were able to defeat the first rune and magical blob. We avoided the next three magical blobs only to find out we were missing someone with years of scholarly knowledge. Alas, we had to return to Stormreach empty handed.

From there, we went forth to try to help Mistress Orphne leave the prison of her mind. We were able to navigate the air traps on the bridge and encountered a Beholder. Killeak (I'll try it with 2 "L"'s here, heh) graciously handed me a spare Deathward robe which I put on before our battle with the Beholder. I don't know what manner of magics the Beholder cast in my direction but it was certainly a lot and the robe kept me protected. We defeated the Beholder but lost Arenius to the Beholder's magics. Hafin was able to bring him back and we proceeded to the ladder. Unfortunately, there were other magics in play and we were sent out of Orphne's mind to the Harbour. We gave it another attempt but the magics of the ladder turned us back once again and some of us decided to head to the Tavern for a night of rest.

    ----------

I want to thank Luki for sponsoring me which will give me the opportunity to meet and group with more of you.

    ----------

On another note, I will be on briefly today once I get home from work (4 p.m. EST) but then I will not be online until Sunday evening. Easter weekend = visit family and friends. If I don't see any of you this afternoon, have a great weekend and Happy Easter!

Last night, I had the pleasure of grouping with Jesinia, Ajanti, Johan, Araevin, and Yndro. We went into House Phiarlan and decided to seek some treasures from the Giants that reside within the Ruins of Threnal. It was certainly a humbling experience to battle the ferocious Hill Giants and Fire Giants. (There is nothing quite like being backhanded or stomped upon by a giant.) We bid farewell to Araevin as he had to venture elsewhere and welcomed Kileak.

From there, we moved into House Jorasco and proceeded to help Jesinia close upon the elusive level 9. Xandrianna joined us as Kileak had to attend to other things. The Haunted Library certainly provided some floor-opening experiences (and flying clerics...). Once we acquried the 3 Tomes, we decided to stop the Graverobber from obtaining anymore bodies from the graveyard. With a couple of hiccups in between, we were ultimately successful in bringing the Graverobber to heel.
