I will be looking to join this guild in Black desert online. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. I am currcntly a disabled veteran. I am a gamer from back in the oregon trail days... LOL I have a couple of animals. My hobby is gaming. I currently play eve online as well. But Black desert will be my main focus when released. I will probably play between 6 to 8 hours daily lol Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I saw your post in the guild recruitment section of the balck desert forums. I like the format you are all running and like the calendar event setup. I used to run my own guild and used that feature alot. It works out well, plus i like TS. Q - What lead you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which Friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic Magnetism?) A. Black desert online forum guild recruitment page. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include Times and Time zones. A. I am in the USA, texas. So central time, but i dont sleep much do to insomnia. But, I will play almost everyday for 6 to 8 hours a day. Real life will always come first, but if i sign up for a raid, dungeon or trade route. I will be there, I will never be a no show unless there is an emergency. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Favorite game of all time, is command and conquer series. But if we are talking MMO, then my favorite would be LOTRO. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I am mostly setup for pc gaming, I have a custom built 3000.00 desktop with 60 in lcd tv. My recliner and gaming keyboard and mouse. I use logitech G930 headset for teamspeak. But I also have an xbox one and kill kids on some duty when i am bored. Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I have been playing mmo's since they first came out, I have played everquest, WoW, LOTRO, SWTOR, EVE, archeage. I loved being group healer and back up is always ranged DPS. I am not much for lead rules like tank. I have always liked the support classes hince the name life saver for healing lol Q. What is your favorite part of a MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, Raiding, Community, Roleplaying, Crafting, Achievements, Exploration, etc) A.Well I never craft in a game, i like the leveling and gathering and just grouping up with my fellow gamers. There are so many aspects to an MMO, why just pick one? lol Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A.I always keep my head down on the train track for new games, but currently all my focus is on Black Desert. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A.As mentioned before, one of the main reasons I liked the thought of joining yoru guild was the ts and calendar. I have used it in the past with other guilds and when i ran my own guild in previous games. I will use TS almost everytime I am logged into the game. It is easier to communicate on ts and battle then trying to battle and type. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A.YES Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I am all about community and helping each other. I think the guild that helps each other will succeed. I have been in guilds were people just join to be social as they game. There is nothing wrong with that at all. But I have learned that if you get into a guild that is social but also helps each other, they will get to the good stuff end game stuff alot faster and be able to do the cool things out. PLus when we work together, the higher levels can help the lower levels out and get them good info. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Wow thats a hard question... there are different ways to look at that. You could guy by the person that needs it and it will help the most, or the person that might not NEED it, but he helps other people out more and deserves it.. Or it could go to the person that games the most and will get the most use out of it. Thats a hard call and will follow the guilds decision. The only thing I do not like, is going by rank in the guild.. So say we are in a dungeon as a group and the uber rare drop goes to an officer or leader just cause he is there. I dont think that is fair or right. But if said officer or leader falls under the previous situations by all means he deserves it. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A.I like bacon and bacon goes with everything.... BUT, I do not dream about it. I just wake up and eat it all day ! lol Just a FYI, under prefix, I was going to select BDO, but there is not a current selection for that...I am also willing to be an officer if you are looking. I am mature and responsible and always on. I dont want a leader role, but a support officer to help recruit and such I am game for.
