Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. Star Wars the Old Republic, Jedi Shadow Zaileen Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Hobbies: Video Gaming, arting and watching TV Family: just my parents and my little sis School: PSU Work: tutoring on the weekends and a cashier during the weekdays Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. Just looking for a small homely guild for one of my alts! I just want some communication within the guild, not asking for much. I can help with heroics, conquest and flashpoints Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. My friend Murrai led me here Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I can play after 4 PM EST on weekdays, weekends I don't have an exact schedule Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Last of Us because I love story oriented games and the game grappled me emotionally The game was very beautiful and it is my all time favorite. You know you are going to love the game when the opening scene is so good (and it was!) Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC and PS4 currently Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. My first MMO was WoW and I have tried to play other MMOS like Terra and riders of icarus but I keep coming back to SWTOR. I have been playing SWTOR for around 3 years now because I am obsessed Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. I mainly focus on the PVE content (because I am bad at PVP). Leveling NEW classes and raiding is probably my favorite part because I love getting new achievements and because raiding can be challenging Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. I plan on being stuck with SWTOR for a pretty long time Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. My mic broke and I have no money (college is expensive). Event calendars are great as long as people actually read them! Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I do. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I mainly DPS so I don't think the first problem will arise. As for pvp, I suck at it but I can try. Just don't yell at me because I will be embarrassed >.> Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Whoever rolls. May the RNG be with you! I rather not have biases and get in an argument Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? Yeah its good. I like seafood more (yay shrimp)
Gurl I would use one of our in jokes to let you know it's me but I don't think the guild would appreciate our filthy sailor language. But welcome! Glad to see my pestering worked...uhh I mean my warm invitation? Either way welcome!
Nice app, welcome to OSD! I've accepted your permission groups, so you're set on the site. Someone from the swtor chapter will be along shortly to guide you into the in-game guild.
Welcome Zuzu! Will need to make sure we have your permissions take care of then you'll get past the Gates! PS: Don't worry about PvP. I'm allergic to it myself.
Welcome aboard brother!! make yourself at home. regaeding the event calendar... Here's a pro tip... After making the event, be detailed in the description... Create a post in your forums to advertise it... Link it in the shout box... Talk about it in guild chat! recently we added an events channel on discord where you can plug your event as well.
