The plan was to pay each and everyone of the guild members 5 Electrum Pieces on launch day but seeing that EPs aren't available in Stormreach it was just decided to let you run up a tab at the Tavern that day. So in leiu of payroll how about drinks and Tasty Ham on the house all day Friday at the Silver Flagon!

I do very much appreciate the accomodations you have provided me outside these silver gates.....I started widdling and walking and before I knew it I was wandering through the forest humming old folk songs my grandfather used to sing to me from ages past. I seem to have a penchant for wandering off...the forest draws me in and I get lost in my thoughts. I did get my piece completed though....(Walks over to Jesinia and hands her a carved piece lashed with leather.)

So, I have heard many tales of the Order of the Silver Dragon in my wandering. Pray tell me of some of the adventures you have seen. It is wise to know the past so you can avoid folly and celebrate past deeds. Enlighten me with a tale.

The guards say you are quite familiar with the city of Stormreach... I am wondering if you would be interested in joining my men in an expedition into the underbelly of this city... There is an...objective....that must be fulfilled and a scout is required. Someone that understands the "inhabitants" of the area, you might say...

Check in with Captain Donshep and request that he add you to his party if there is an interest...

Long ago there lived a queen. She did not know it at the time but she was to become part of a very important and powerful prophecy. She did not rule the lands, but was more of an important figure to the people. In a time of great dispare she gave others hope, she fed the hungry, she cured the ailing. Her heart was larger than life. In this time of war and strife she was married wife to an abusive and power hungry ruler. A king who did not rule for the people. His cruelty knew no bounds. Torture, corruption, bigomy...he had no conscience.

The queen was unhappy with her life and thought of ending it many times, but found true love with another. A simple man. A wandering mercinary. He was kind and gentle to her, listening to her stories and comforting her soul. One night when they presummed no one around the consumated their relationship and vowed to change the world. There were eyes everywhere, and their meeting did not go unnoticed. Word of them got to the King and he was furious. In a fit of rage he caught the two in bed and with a single blow seperated the man's head and body. Blood and tears everywhere, the King became even more vengful. He tortured the Queen for days.

On the brink of death, starving and cold the Queen stayed in the dungeons for weeks. Feeding off cockroaches and grubs, she was able to sustain her life, barely. -

I will have to stop here. Like I said not very poetic, and it's a bit rough. But it is a work in prgress. mayhap when you come inside the gates you will hear more.

Kril looks about quickly then breathes a sigh of relief, "Whew! thought that durned halfing was trying to get me to pay again heh!"

"Ahh good you got rid of that dirty halfling barkeep we had before with the heavy hitting club?" Kril asks as he looks around and rubs his head as if remembering a few knocks on it recently....

 

I believe he was with that first purged group. Tis a shame we don't have the stockade, as we could have some real fun with em.

 

Kril looks worried, "But did you get rid of his Warforged servant?!" Kril looks visibly shaken and the blood drains from his face, "He's a vicious murdering machine!"

 

No worries about warforged. They have an on/off switch on their backs whispers Falstaff.

 

Kril gasps and brightens up visibly, "Good good... that is good news indeed. I was waiting for his batteries to run out actually. He has a tag on him that reads "Batteries not included" so i remembered the watered down ale and didnt think the old barkeep would pay for batteries either hehe"

 

I rode out to his camp this morning... and noted he was gone....
