Hello everyone! I usually go by the handle Sanctimus for boards and such. In game I'm Lorrel Vel'Aern, Elven wizard and sometimes rogue (shhh!). Eberron is a new D&D realm for me, so I've no backstory as of yet. I prefer to play Mage or Mage/thief. After all, what good is a fantasy world without magic? Next favored class is Ranger. I started PnP AD&D when I was about 15 and I played off and on through my mid 20's. Then MUDs and MMPORPGs started to arrive on scene. The best PnP campaign I have ever been on lasted four months at about 10 to 20 hours per week when I was in stationed in Korea. We had a lot of free time on our hands and a great DM. As someone else mentioned recently, my passion for MMORPGs started with NWN on AOL (I was FrostGhost, cheesy I know, but it fit AOL naming conventions at a time when few names remained) where I was constantly assaulted by my wife for our outrageous online charges (pre-unlimited access days ::shudder:. My progression of acroynmns is as follows: NWN, GS3, UO, EQ, DAoC, AC, AC2, EQ2, WoW, DDO. If you know them all, you're as addicted as I. Cheers! I'm now 33, marrried, and have a couple kobolds running around in the play room as we speak. My wife also games with me on occasion, but I'm not sure how she feels about DDO yet. We live in Southeastern Connecticut between the two Casinos, literally. For a living I build submarines. Big ones. I work in the Information Security department, so I won't be telling you much about what I do for a living, sorry .
