Currently interested in joining you all in Black Desert Online. The server is Orwen, PC. I have a lvl 50 maehwa that I just now took a break from after grinding a ton. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Till recently I went by Tasteycakes but transferring over to Land Shark. I have been a gamer most of my life and its pretty much my main hobby. I have been volunteering at a Cat Shelter called Town Cats, it pulls me away on Fridays and Saturdays till 12 pm, and sometimes Sundays till 5 pm. I am unemployed but teaching myself Unity so I can make something of myself. Anxiety and depression have kind of ruined job opportunities for me atm. I will pretty much answer any questions, I am just quiet at 1st. Just a gal looking to find a community and hopefully some friends along the way. ^.^ Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. Honestly OSD looks like a guild that is actually put together. I have had bad luck with guilds in the past. Like most I am a pervert but it stays in my head unless appropriate and I don't like hearing people say racists things just because its "funny" to them. Your guild stands out for that reason. Most guilds/clans I have been in all end up with guys like that and maybe a few girls who just kind of go with it because they don't want to cause an issue or they think its funny as well. Just not the type of thing I like. The community can help me by just being you. If anything poke me a few times if I don't ask for help but other wise just do you! Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. Your Reddit post led me here and just reading about the guild rules and info on the site made me want to join. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I will pretty much be online most of the day, just recently started to slow down because of grind death lol. So pretty much 8 am pst till 10 pm pst unless I am pulled away by family or my girlfriend. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Black Desert is pretty much the winner but if I had another option it would be Conkers Bad Fur Day on 64. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. Mainly just pc. Console maybe in the future if I have the money. Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. WoW is the one I have played the longest. I'm 25 now, soon to be 26, and I played it since my freshmen year. So pretty damn long. I have dabble in Archage, Tera, etc but nothing else really pulled me and I would jump back in to WoW on and off. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Weirdly my favorite part of MMOs is leveling and dungeons. After that it would be the community. I have never done any role playing but I am a little bit curious to learn. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. The next COD and Battlefield game because I am a poor soul who can't help myself. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. Of course, I might not talk at 1st but I will try to be on Team Speak most of the time. I love the idea of an event calendar to help with events. Especially with a game like BDO where its time consuming and people have different schedules. Its nice to be able to see what the plans are. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. of course! I am not great at pvp but I will always try my best unless I have to leave at a certain time and can't join. The same for helping in a particular role. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Whoever needs it most gear wise and not replacement wise. The only way to advance is to help each other and not be selfish. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Hell yeah! Blt babah!
