Right now I'm currently interested in playing Black Desert, however just before this I was playing Blade & Soul, but decided I wanted to move over to BD. My characters family name is Hexos, and my characters name is Ixtrix, and I'm on the Orwen server. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. My hobbies include lots of gaming, and as far as school, that's long behind me, after getting my BA in Game Art Design I vowed to never go back to school again, and no one can make me. I love to do digital art with my Wacom Bamboo Tablet, and painting in Photoshop. If only I had super villain abilities though :cry:Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I want to join OSD because my boyfriend and I after spending a week being new on BD, and seeing how much the game had going on, and all of the amazing multiple facets, that it was definitely time to look for a guild to join, but not to just join the first one that advertised on global (that has been a nightmare in the past for us) I had been looking and looking for the both of us and everything was either way too hardcore, or not hardcore enough, or too focused on one aspect of the game, and not enough on others. We want to experience everything the game has to offer, but have fun doing it in the process. I decided to post on forum "Couple looking for a guild" and in the post I explained just what we were looking for. A member (could be an officer, I'm unsure) actually took the time to see my post, read it, and reply, which I thought was awesome by the way. The both of us could help the community by being active, contributing to events and I can definitely provide lots of RIP chat moments (I see, to do that a lot :s) Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. As I kind of rambled about in the previous answer, I posted on forum that my boyfriend and were looking for a guild, and what specifically we wanted in one. Someone named Keegen (who was wicked nice by the way) replied and said that I should look into OSD. I did, and now here I am mindlessly droning on, I apologize, my boyfriend usually stops me by this point. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. My gameplay schedule is kind of early hours, and throughout the day, maybe a bit in the evening (I have lots of free time, nasty car accidents tend to do that) My timezone is PST. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Best game EVER. This is kind of difficult to answer, I'm 31 and have been gaming since I was old enough to pick up a Nintendo controller. I can say for a fact MMORPG's are my favorite genre...does that count as answering? But if I had to try to pick, I would say that even though I've only been playing black Desert for a week, I've caught myself saying "Gahh I love this game" more than I've said with any other game. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. I was an XBOX nerd for yearsss, but once I started playing PC I never went back. So definitely PC all the way. Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. Tera-I played for a couple years Guild Wars-About a year Elder Scrolls Online-A couple of years Runescape-A few months Neverwinter-A few months Aion-A few years The Secret World-A few years Ragnarok-About a year Vanguard-Abot a year These are all of the ones I can remember, there's definitely more but it's been so long. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Really all of it, I love doing everything I can get my hands on. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Right now it's Black Desert, but I always keep an ear out for upcoming titles. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I definitely plan on using both, but I won't be on TS all the time. I'm always on call with my boyfriend so it can kind of get muddled when too many voices are going. When it's recommended that I be on it though, I certainly will be on. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. I totally agree. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I completely agree and find no problem with any of it. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. If there's not a loot list involved, ie whoever has it be at the bottom of the list, who needs it be at the top, then I would kind of struggle deciding actually who should get it, because everyone worked towards the end together. I always end up stepping back immediately from the drop though and letting someone else have it but...maybe everyone could come to a consensus together. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. I'm not a huge meat eater but for bacon, I could be the biggest fat kid. The bacon will go straight to my hips and thighs but...it's totally worth it. In my dreams I would say bacon manifests into the forum of a snuggly bacon goat that I absolutely adore, but feel horrible and disgusted with myself that I can't stop eating his cute face off.

Welcome! Getting into the guild can be a bit tricky with the way Daum has it set up. Note the listed officers in the link that Xanz posted above. Add officers to your friends list. When we are online, send one of us a whisper and if we do not answer it might be because we are AFk so try a different person. You can also try team speak but that is not as active as the endgame guild chat. Looking forward to seeing you in the game!
Great application! I've already chatted with you a bit in guild chat but welcome to OSD! I like your answer to "how long have you been gaming" I always say the same thing, "as soon as I was able to pick up a Nintendo controller" haha.
