Greetings fellow explorers. My name is Farley Milestone. I am a Dwarven fighter, and a proud descendent from the ancient Mror Dwarves.

I have recently returned to Stormreach from a long journey to the Ironroot Mountains, the land of my ancestors. It is there that I studied the long forgotten Mror battle tactics. Such tactics were used by my people to fend off the Dhakaani from our lands long ago.

Throughout my travels I have heard mention of this “Order of the Silver Dragon”. Tales of your honor and heroic conquests alongside the army of Cyre during the last war are spread far and wide. Thus I have made it my quest to seek you out and see for myself if these tales be true.

I plan to make Stormreach my home, and would like to find a trustworthy group such as yours to call my friends, and pledge my axe. If you are interested, I can be found in the Silver Flagon Tavern throwing back an ale.

    What say ye?

Hi guys! My real name is Mike Bostic. I’m 36 and currently reside in Houston, TX. I am an avid gamer since the first Doom & Duke Nukem days. I also love to play D&D on paper. Over the past couple of years we had been playing D&D once or twice a month, but now my job will not allow the time. I was (and still am) extremely excited to hear about the launch of DDO. It’s exactly what I’ve dreamed of, and been wishing for, for years! Yes I jumped on Everquest and played for several years, but something was just missing. After playing through the DDO Beta, I have found that missing element. I can’t tell you what exactly it is, but I know it’s there. Good stuff!!

After my beta account ended, I realized I had gotten so into playing that I didn’t put forth any effort into finding a guild. I am signed up for the headstart and would like to join a guild during that time frame. That being the case, I got online and while looking through some of the posts on the DDO forum, I came across a post by one of your members. I liked what he had to say, so I clicked on the guild link he had at the bottom of his post.

Anyway, I like what I see guys. Y’all seem to be of the same mind and ideals that I enjoy being a part of. Most importantly, the “family” aspect. My top priority is to HAVE FUN PLAYING. That’s what it’s all about for me. Not fighting over this, bitching about that, so & so did this… blah blah blah. Shaaaadup & enjoy the game for goodness sake!!! I am a very loyal player, like low pressure guilding and gaming, I like helping others with quests, and once I find a good home, I like to stay there. Hopefully this home will be with The Order of the Silver Dragon!

Goodness...he doesn't even leave room for many question. Straight and to the point, very well thought out. I already know what Sook would say. Anyways, welcome Dwarven brother. *Passes you an ale* Might we hear one more tale from your homeland wilst we sit around the campfire a bit?

    Greetings Farley Milestone,

Welcome, your bold nature has captured our attention. Seeing as we are getting close to the day we will venture forth as a group and cleanze the vile Stormreach sewers I expect you will be ushered in quickly as to get you familiar with the group and assigned to a squad.

So guild members what say you should we allow this dwarf in he does seem to be wearing clothing unlike some of the others who have wandered in.

So Farley Milestone with Launch getting very close we are starting to shift gears to organization structure and teaming. So don't go to far as we won't have much time to wait for a response. Please keep an eye on this thread and response to members questions and I will make sure you get a quick consideration.

    Well, let's see here..
~With a nod & a smile Farley takes a healthy gulp of ale, wipes his mouth with his forearm and begins to think of a story~
I suppose I could tell you about the time I was in mirror lake scrubbin my backside when a herd of shocker lizzards showed up....
~with an electric-twitch Farley strokes his long red beard~
Or perhaps the one where I was fighting this evil wizzard when his levitation spell wore off. He screamed like a little girl all the way to the ground... SPLAT!!!
~Farley buys the next round of ale~
Oh, one day when we become a little more acquainted, I'll have to tell you how I got a diamond for an eye...
~with a grin Farley lifts his left eye patch to reveal a huge shining diamond stuck in the socket where his eye used to be~

Ahh well met Sir Falstaff and Sir Donshep, thank you for the kind regard. Let me assure you my axe is sharpened and at the ready.
~Farley looks lovingly at his Great Axe, rubbing it as if it were a beautiful woman~
I thank you for the consideration Sirs...

Hail friend :) You said that your schedule was giving you no time to play PnP D&D. Will it impact your ability to be able to play DDO? I agree with Falstaff. You answered most of the questions we normally ask. Well done. I think that you would be a fine fit here :)

My job keeps me away from home, thus away from my friends playing PnP D&D. Fortunately though, when I'm out of town working, I have my PC, an internet connection, and Paaaa-Lenty of time 8)

Sadly my stay in Houston was cut short by a hurricane. When I was taken home from the hospital following my birth the streets of Harris County still had several inches of water on them. Our home was unscathed but the places my mother and father worked were decimated. I've visited twice since then but those were merely visits and not vacations. At any rate the guild has a PnP forum for members and an online game or two might be possible if somthing bad happens to the DDO server we will be on. I'll probably be checking that out myself whenever at a machine incapable of running DDO.

LOL I would have to say I'm the one that needs to be cut off!
~Farley get's up from the table, bids everyone a good evening, flips the barkeep a gold, grabs a wench, and uses her and his beloved axe to stumble up the stairs to his room.~

    Verin walks across the tavern.

Hail and welcome, friend. You seem to have a close bond with that axe of yours. I hear tell that you're looking to put it into our service. I've heard a story of a dwarf by the name of Milestone from the Ironroots. A story about a certain giant being taken down by a young dwarf. Aye, I've heard of you.

Looking over his shoulder, Verin nods to Mennesth.

    Aye, he'll do.
