Hail and well met, i've run with a couple of you guys and my wife is currently a member. Had fun in the group and I really need to stop running in PUGs. Only put my highest level, a 15 pally but will use whatever character I have depending on the situation. - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? Obviously we're still waiting on AoC servers... Yes
Are you a Pirate too? Welcome to our website... Parvo's Mortal Voyage, eh? Lots of respect for those guys.... I'm Bee.
Hello friend!! Well first let me start by saying... you have my vote! Secondly let me be VERY honest with you... We have historically been VERY tough on multi-guild memberships... We are looking for "community commitment" here within these virtual walls... That being said I recognize that a perma death group is more of an "event" versus a community... once upon a time we would encourage players within other guilds like this to be "citizens" here... you'd have access to our events... to most of our forums...etc! Matter of fact we have MANY friends that have been "citizens" for over a year now... Citizens VERSUS Guild Members...BUT... We realize we're all here to play a game and have some fun... So we've loosend up quite a bit. I'll let the other's chime in.... I say yes... I say yes ESPECIALLY if you have intentions to be as active on these forums as PirateRose... She has been a wonderful addition to this community.
As sook has said we have not been keen on multi guilded members. we dont want your loyalties split. and i am still very much one of the old hardliners that dose'nt like to see that rule slip y the way side but if piraterose is willing to recomend you then you have my vote. now if the other guild ties become a issue we have a zero tolaorance with issues.
Aye, I thought it might be an issue to, but as Sook said, the PD seems to be something separate, and i believe Rose has said something to that effect before, in that you play with her non-PD and do your own thing with PD. In that regards, I don't see a problem with it, but you gotta post your gaming picture in the thread. Rose knows were its at and can point ya in the right direction,
Hello there Spookykid!! I want to wellcome you to the gates of our guild of Silver Dragons! Hmmm that reminds of the lyrics to an old McCartney tune that goes somethin like this "Someones knockin at the door! Someones ringin the bell! Do me a favor open the door and let um in!! Oh yeah yeah!!" Well any you got me vote!
Yes i'm in Parvo's mortal Voyage and I understand not having members split between guilds. Permadeath is fun but very rough, I never get to see higher level content and I need some serious off time from it. Its more of a tedium breaker than a full time thing for me now. I plan to play here most but I'll accept whatever decision you come up with. The wife is the serious roleplayer, not so much myself.
Hey Spookykid! I see you understand where we are coming from as far as split guild status. We have loved having your wife join our ranks (just posted her first event, I'm so proud *sniff*), and I'm sure you're going to be a welcome addition to us as well. I've gone ahead and approved your citizen and DDO guild membership access, so you should have access to all the cool stuff like the calendar, discussion, your wife's RP thread (love reading that myself), and the roster. Please get your toons registered in the roster and then grab an officer on-line for an in-game invite. Welcome to the Guild!
Cool and thanks, I'll be on tonight to get an invite the Pirate woman will not be on ddo for a couple days though i'm sure she will check the website
Welcome to OSD, Spooky! We have several couples in game and P.Rose has already been a very welcome addition. Her Koppercorn thread has already brought the storyteller out of some of us
