I dig anime. I'm watching Kingdom right now. Love it to death. I am also following the count of Monte Cristo, which has weird animation but is great.
Death note is my favorite anime of all time if no one has seen it,i encourage plp to do so(even if you dont like anime..is that good ;P )
Man it's been years since I've seen Death Note. :wtf: Starting airing in Japan right after I started really getting into anime, so it was one of the first shows I picked up. Really did blow my mind at the time, or at least most of it.
A friend of mine turned me onto Sword Art Online. I've only watched the anime so I can't say anything about the manga; still, I thought the show was pretty darn interesting. Synopsis: In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released where players control their avatars with their bodies using a piece of technology called Nerve Gear. One day, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now...
Sword Art didn't really look that interesting when I first looked at it, but I've been hearing from a bunch of people that it's actually pretty good. Only show I'm really watching this season is Kokoro Connect, which is a really good take on the whole body swapping theme and delves pretty deeply into the socio-philosophical issues that arise from it, instead of just using it as a plot device for humorous antics. I did start watching the second season of Yuru Yuri, but I just watched Nichijou (one of the most hilarious shows I've seen) last month, so my WTF meter is pegged for the time being.
