    Greetings,
Was contacted by Sr. support and they think I may have a corrupted file. So I shall have to un/re install.
I am playing fine and my points are adding up, so that will be a few days. In the meantime please feel free to send a tell and we shall see if it goes through. If you do send tells and they are un responded to let me know here so that I can pass this along to support should re loading not correct the prob.
    LeTemplar.

Adding people who do not exist? I have had to terminate people for doing that to payroll.
Thanks for the help tonight Sook. Turned a long day that ended with getting my butt kicked by the master skeleton in Shan to Kor.
Was just checking e mail when you saw me. Gotta try a cleric build sometime.
Don't happen to have any cleric spells for driving an hour and a half through Xmas traffic on what should be a 20 minute trip to be sold the wrong memory chip for a laptop do you?
Anyway will try to join you Friday, but time will be tight I think 5:30 west coast is 7:30 central which is about the time I am getting in, so I can't commit to an rsvp but if it works out that I am in and you have a slot open I would love to join. It would be worth it just to see anyone kick skeletors rear.
Must be a really strong npc, I have handled most everything but 3 hits and I am dead.
And speaking of dead it's snooze time.
    Night all.

We did it! Even got a few shots in on skeletor.

Reminded me of a story from my youth, which I shall share at a future date if anyone wants to hear.

Great night, great folks (thanks all) great fun!!! 2 action points. and some fab quest items which will come in handy. Maybe one day my character won't be so retarded when it has to do ladders.

Seem to have fixed the voice chat overload, so I was not as blaring. It is an issue on my end. Have a cam with mic (usb) which system defaults to even with headset mic connected that I cannot disable. Which is what caused all the feedback. So I went lo tech and wrapped a towel around it. Feedback made Hendrix famous, not me.

Almost at L4, would there be an advantage to multi classing some cleric or wizard skills at L5?

Was really impressed with the spell casting, healing and buff abilities of those players/characters. Have usually played a Pally in all of the games since I started. With the exception of a wizard some time ago in Pool of Radiance. Character was so weak I took up the heavy armor hack and slash mode.

Hope everyones quests were just as good.

C'est la vie, C'est la Guerre, C'est la sacred Mercenaire.

good to hear you not only had fun but accomplished something! :D
    thats always a goodhthing

    now to address yer question:
imo, dont crossclass yer pally to anything...
just keep lvling him in paladin
for one main reason... it will give you more time to understand your character: the paladin and its build and how it fits into ddo
(and NEVER crossclass a caster... not in this game... it just doesnt work very well... yes it can be done... but in the end, the character is weaker)

Thanks for the advice. Actually picked up some cool spells leveling up tonight. Which may not make multi classing as attractive.

The wierdest thing has happened though, this morning I sent some items to my mule and he had 2 plat points in nventory. I cleaned him out just a couple of days ago. After questing tonight, I sent him some more items I did not want to sell off. When I opened up the character, he had well over 30,000 plats. Has anyone ever encountered this?

Now if I could just hit the Lottery.

    PARTYS on me.

I credit my success to clean living and a life of debauchery.

    Happily befuddled.

And I found a beer in the fridge I had forgotten about. Darn, life is good.

Thx to the $$ from nowhere (wish I had a clue) I now have +3 full plate and +3 addy shield. AC 31 + 2.

A little more practice working with a group and I will be keeping up with you all.

Special thanks to tonights group for their patience in showing me how to make those jumps in Baudrys quest.

Love the Pally, but he can be really retarded on ladders and jumps.

Quote from a billboard here in Nashville.

"There is room for Gods creatures, right next to the potatoes"

    Just thought I'd share that.

the ladder thing is a real game issue, no worries
    turbine has made it better
but its still somewhat of an issue

    and the jumping thing...
well some people are good at jumping others are not
    but ill tell ya this...
its A LOT easier to jump if you actualy have a jump skill
ive noticed that actually putting points into the jump skill when i level helps out immensly
i forget what kurlacks base jump skill is, but buffed he can get it too 63 or higher (depending on the buffs he gets)

soo... keep a set of jumping boots on you, stick it on yer hot bar
all my toons have at least 2 sets of boots on their hot bars
the set they normally wear is striding... just makes them run a little faster
and the 2nd set is jumping, which i can switch too if i need the extra 'ups'

    just an idea

    Greetings, and Merry Christmas,
Thanks for the tip I had not thought about hotbarring that type of equipable. Actually that solves something else. I acquired Shaags helm Friday night and wanted to use it for the intimidate bonus, but I had to give up my water breathing helm to do so, now I can have both. Groovy. So simple too, I have done this with weapons but never thought about equipment.

And as luck would have it, I picked up 2 pair boots of striding to night. One from a cleric we were questing with, another on a later quest.
    Santa came early.
I wish everyone the grandest of holidays, and a fab New Year filled with joy, prosperity, health, happiness, and the greatest of joy.

Oh, and many many xp. And I don't mean software from Microsoft.

    Thanks,
Have done some work on that today. Must admit I couldn't deal with all the bars stacked at the bottom though. Had to L shape them to get a better view.

Do have a question about targeting though. Everyone runs through breakables like crazy. How are you doing that? Is it an interaction set up?

    Curious.
