Hello Silver Dragons! I saw the post by Sook on the offical forums and was intrigued about your guild. I'm looking for a guild to explore DDO with when it goes live and your guild sounds like a great group of people to adventure with! I've been involved with mmorpgs since the original Neverwinter Nights on AOL started and have spent some time with most of the big ones since, having gotten pulled into EQ and WoW for the longest stretches of my online career. I've been in a few guilds over the course of my gaming career, as both a member and in a leadership role, and have always found the family-style guilds the most fun. The hardcore raid-a-day guilds just become tedious after a while. I currently have an active WoW subscription but started in on the DDO beta with a 10 day pass last night. I work the typical 5 day 40 hour job so am online most week nights at all hours and at various times over the course of the weekend. I live in the Boston, MA area so am on EST. I recently got engaged so my time online may fluctate a lot on the weekends as we make wedding plans. I'm going to play a bard named Verin Silversong at launch. I don't currently have a back story written for him yet since I don't know too much about Eberron's history. I'll come up with one as I learn more. I look forward to adventuring with you all! Verin
Welcome. Looking forward to hearing some of your tunes...poems...melodies etc etc. Sit back, kick your feet up and have a look around.
Welcome to the boards. Sit back, relax and enjoy the forums while the application is being gone over.
Application approved! Welcome aboard traveler... Dust yourself off and join the rest of the crew in our tavern. =) We're happy to have you. I suggest you become familiar with our Guild FAQ and Guild Archives. (Main menu)
well met Verin! let me reiterate what my fellow guildies have said and add one thing... have fun! oh, and sook, if you make a forum call The Tavern... you may very well get some 'drunk posts'... kinda like drunk dialing... but more funny hehehe
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I look forward to many a song-filled barroom brawl with you all! er, um, I mean, adventure! I made Verin on Orien and, unfortunately, the name was taken. So, for now, you can find me online as Verrin Silversong.
Greetings. Seems like the New England crowd has been growing these last few days. Should be lots of people in ET to team with. Hopefully those westerners like Sook won't get too jealous and only start recruiting PT zone folks.
Ahh good bard respresentation for the EST is covered! Yay we have someone to sing tales of our adventures I am leased with the turnout of EST people and am excited to play with all of you upon release
