Greetings! I wanted to introduce myself and my intentions. I have been playing my 10 day beta pre-order (prob ends next Mon) and have been reading quite a bit on the DDO forums. While doing so I stumbled across a thread which led me to your fine site. I am presently in a small adult Guild and have been for many years however it seems that I may be the only one playing DDO. Sooo, I've been looking for another guild that has similar values and I believe Silver Dragons is such a guild from what I have read thus far. I too would like to find fellow adventurers that will approach DDO with RP & actual adventure in mind, not just concentrating on only the best exp quests or just rushing through them, etc. While I may not mind that on occasion for some very reptitious quests, I would prefer to find more focus on the journey. Right now I'm playing usually every night and on the Orien server. My main character right now is a Human Wizard named "Roanen Mailstrom". At release my main will probably be a Wizard but I plan to start a Rogue as well and likely shift between them. As far as my history.. I go back a ways as I'm sure many here probably do. Some of the MMO's I put a lot of time in: LoK - UO - DAoC - PS - SWG - CoH - EQ2 - WoW - CoV. One of my favorites was Legends of Kesmai. My timezone is CST and generally play between 7-11pm, varying. If anyone else is still active in the Beta and needs a Wizard just send me a tell! So.. look forward to hear'n and meet'n some of you fine folks! -Dan
Greetings Anthom and welcome. I don't know that we'll cross paths much, as when the game goes live, I'll be playing either early or late. But maybe we'll cross paths on weekends sometime. Regardless, each and every RP oriented member is welcome here.
