I am currently playing Black Desert Online, on the server Orwen. Character names are Freakzter and Freaksterz. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Hey there, my real name is David, and I have been gaming for a very long time. I have 3 kids, two boys and one girl. Lucky man I am. =) I love to see movies at the theatre, and probably see every new movie that comes out. I spend most of my time gaming and taking care of my kids. I live in Seattle, Washington, people do not like the rain here, but I love it. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I want a guild that understands that real life is most important, and not feel demanded to be in a game 24/7 as if it was my real life. I feel that OSD can provide that for me. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. Actually a guild member of OSD named Ixtrix was speaking in channel chat about guilds in general and I liked what he had to say about OSD. I sent him a message in game and we began talking, I further became more interested and liked the whole idea behind OSD. After asking about how I would go about joining OSD, Xanzor sent me a message and I just now wanted to be a part of it. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. I am Pacific ( PST ), and I play at all times, its usually random. =) Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. The best game I have ever played would have to be EverQuest, it was my first real MMO and I do not think that anything has ever compared. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC and PS4 Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A.I have played everything, literally. MMO wise. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. My favorite part of an MMO is the PvP and PvE both, but if I were to pick one I would say PvP. I just like the idea of getting a group together or more and just having fun together really. Something I do NOT like, would probably be crafting, haha. =) Even though I still try at times. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A.Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen from Brad McQuaid and possibly Lost Ark. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. I think the idea of an event calendar is awesome, and as for TS I would say 8 out of 10 times I am on I will be on it. I will check out forums daily. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes, I agree completely. Have read the Code of Conduct, and sounds great to me. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. I will always participate in helping out others, especially in need. This is a PvP game and sometimes people are going to get killed and need back up, if you ask for it, I will already start heading over to back you up. =) Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. I do not think that one chosen person deserves an item greater than the rest, I believe each and every one of us deserve the item as the next. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A.Bacon, its alright. =)
