For the love of ale, open the door!

My board name is jdawg, I'm from Knoxville, TN and I love the sweet taste of a good ale.

I want to join this guild because I'm looking for some good online friends to play with. I will be playing casually, as I have a wife and kids.

My main character is Pizen, a dwarf bard. Funny combo I know. Like me however the dwarf race love their ale.

Welcome to the boards fellow traveler I look for to hearing of your tales of drunkeness.

 

Kril sits in the corner of the tavern looking deathly pale and going through a fit of the shakes. The bartender cackles at him and says, "Ye should have paid your tab! Then the ale would have flowed freely and you wouldnt be goign through withdrawl!" Howls of laughter can be heard from the evil bartenders minions. Kril with a wide eyed stare keeps mumbling, "Ale... oh so good..." over and over... 8O

*attempts a kart wheel and knocks over a bar maid and spills drinks all over everyone

 

hahaha.... That bartender has had in in for Kril eer since that day where.... hmmm... well, some things are best left unsaid.

I've been neglecting my daily greetings to new travelers. Obviously spening too much time in the tavern drinking and making an ass of myself. (or maybe it is the 10 day beta pass I am trying to get in as much as I can before my time is up). In any case....kick yer feet up and have a look around. Welcome to the boards.

A dwarf *and* a bard? I honestly don't think the Silver Flagon will be able to keep enough ale on tap!
Oh, and for the record, I have never seen a living rat in there before. Just be careful of the free beer, I hear it is made of dwarves who don't pay thier bar tab.

What I like

I think what I like most about it is how well playing reminds me of sitting in my buddies trailer till 2am eating donuts that had been borrowed from behind the Krispy Kream and taking my half-elf ranger through all kinds of adventures. This game is designed for intricate group play and the voice chat is awesome.

What I dislike is the lack of solo content. I am married with 3 kids. A lot of times I can't play more than an hour at a time.

 

P.S.

....oh yeah.... this is my 4th day of the beta. 6 days left then I have to wait till the head start event!
