Q: What brought you to our website? A: I recently joined your guild on the Elder Scrolls Online and the member that recruited me directed me towards your website. Q: This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Please tell us a little about yourself personally and add in your past MMO experience. A: My name is Jon I am 22 years old I have been playing MMO's since I was about 15. I started with World of Warcraft and have played many MMO's since. Including Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, Star Wars the Old Republic, DC Universe Online, Neverwinter, Lord of the Rings Online, Wildstar, Warhammer Online and Rift. Q: What time of day do you typically play? How often? A: I usually wonder on around 7pm Central time on the week nights and anytime that I'm free on the weekends. Q: What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character, and please list any alts that you will be bringing into the guild as well. A: I usually go for the warrior type character in MMO's so right now in ESO I have a Orc Dragon Knights who is a two handed weapon using heavy armor wearing beast. Q: Are you affiliated with any other guilds? A: Currently I am not. Q: What is it you're looking for in a guild? Why do you want to join OSD? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A: I am honestly looking for people to grow with in my progression into this game. I enjoy making friends and doing guild activities and being very social. Right now I'm just noobing it up in ESO so it was nice when Valrien informed me that I shouldn't be afraid to ask questions in the guild. Made me feel welcome and non intrusive like some other guilds do. Q: Our focus in TESO will be fighting for the Ebonheart Pact. Does this match up with your TESO faction plan? A: I really didn't have much of a faction plan when I started so that works for me! Q: We have found that guild members have a better gaming experience if they use the forums and the events calender. This allows you to get game information and join guildies in game as a group. Members should RSVP for scheduled events as their real life schedule permits. Creating events is good for the community and is encouraged whenever possible. What are your thoughts on this? A: I totally agree with this. As you can read above I have played many other MMO's usually with the same group of IRL friends but when we joined guilds I always found that doing the things listed above help promote a stronger bond between guild mates and were usually quite successful and fun. Q: OSD is generally a "casual, do it all" guild, meaning we welcome players from all playstyles and don't limit our focus to one playstyle in particular. We welcome PvPers, PvEers, Roleplayers, Crafters, etc. For example, while we may offer weekly raids, we are not a hardcore raiding guild that requires you to raid 5 or 6 nights a week. We also do not consider any one playstyle to be more important than another, all members of OSD are equal. For example, a hardcore PvPer will never be considered "more valuable" to the guild than a casual Roleplayer would be. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic? A: I'm perfectly fine with this. I believe everyone has a right to do whatever they want in the game since they are the ones paying to play it. I myself am not really hardcore about one subject of the game and tend to enjoy taking in as much as possible when playing. Q: With the previous question in mind...We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role, or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic? A: I'm perfectly fine with fulfilling these requests. I tend to enjoy doing things with a group rather than sitting around by myself. Q: If you violate any rules defined within the gaming EULA, or the OSD Code of Conduct you will face disciplinary action up to and including removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A:I do. Q: Is bacon awesome? Why? A: Does a bear crap in the woods? Um, yea. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. You can literally put it with anything and I'd eat it. Maybe not tofu...what am I saying i'd still probably eat it.
I see no problem with it. I can't approve your permissions though, gonna have to wait for that! When you do get approved, check out this link -- http://silverdragons-lair.net/showthread.php?20461-New-Members-Read-this-first!

Welcome aboard Rexiar. As I'm sure you've been told OSD is larger then just ESO. Feel free to look around the forums and you're sure to find like minded game lovers to discuss pretty much all things. Could you post your @name so we know who you are in-game to provide promotion?
