Q: What brought you to our website? A: I was looking for an Elder Scrolls Online Guild, and found this one on a reddit post. Q: This recruitment process requires that we get to know you a little bit. Please tell us a little about yourself personally and add in your past MMO experience. A: I am sixteen (almost seventeen) years old. I strive for the practice and enforcement of legitimacy and rules, specifically in Minecraft. The only MMO I have played other than The Elder Scrolls Online is Clone Wars Adventures, which was at least four years ago. I have played these Elder Scrolls games: Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, Morrowind (my favorite), Oblivion, Oblivion Mobile, Skyrim, and Online Beta. Q: What time of day do you typically play? How often? A: I play anytime between 4:00 P.M. to 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time on school days, and anytime on weekends. Q: What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character, and please list any alts that you will be bringing into the guild as well. A: My main character is Maceilon Prinskah, a Redguard who grew up in Solstheim, and thus is friends with the Nords and Dark Elves. This is why he joined the Ebonheart Pact when the war broke out. He is a healing tank with a sword and shield. Q: Are you affiliated with any other guilds? A: As of now, I am only affiliated with a guild that I joined during the Elder Scrolls Online Beta, and I do not plan remain a member of it. Q: What is it you're looking for in a guild? Why do you want to join OSD? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A: I am looking for a guild in which I can make friends that are mature, and this is OSD's main goal. I will be available to aid another player that needs help with a dungeon or quest, and I want a community that will always be there for me. Q: Our focus in TESO will be fighting for the Ebonheart Pact. Does this match up with your TESO faction plan? A: My character will be in the Ebonheart Pact. Q: We have found that guild members have a better gaming experience if they use the forums and the events calender. This allows you to get game information and join guildies in game as a group. Members should RSVP for scheduled events as their real life schedule permits. Creating events is good for the community and is encouraged whenever possible. What are your thoughts on this? A: Events can be very fun, and they add a lot more to a game. Q: OSD is generally a "casual, do it all" guild, meaning we welcome players from all playstyles and don't limit our focus to one playstyle in particular. We welcome PvPers, PvEers, Roleplayers, Crafters, etc. For example, while we may offer weekly raids, we are not a hardcore raiding guild that requires you to raid 5 or 6 nights a week. We also do not consider any one playstyle to be more important than another, all members of OSD are equal. For example, a hardcore PvPer will never be considered "more valuable" to the guild than a casual Roleplayer would be. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic? A: I agree with this, because I know what it is like to feel lower than other players. Q: With the previous question in mind...We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role, or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. Are you okay with this? Any additional thoughts on this topic? A: I will be at least partially active in all roles, so I will be happy to help if I am needed. Q: If you violate any rules defined within the gaming EULA, or the OSD Code of Conduct you will face disciplinary action up to and including removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A: I understand, and I am glad that rules will be enforced to weed out the mean players. Q: Is bacon awesome? Why? A: I sadly do not love bacon as much as most everyone else does, but the last time I ate bacon, I believe it was the best I had ever had, and I am hoping to in the near future appreciate bacon more. Even though I do not consider it one of my favorite foods, I still still say "Nothing!" when my teacher asks "You know what's wrong with bacon?" Also, bacon is OK. Bacon flavored things? YUCK. It is the same as banana flavored candy. It is always artificial and tastes awful.
