Just a little Heads up, I'll be somewhat away for July 4-7 for an Annual SCI-Fi / Fantasy CON out here in Minnesota (over 5k people last year). I will make sure to take some Pictures - I should be dressing up as the Matt Smith Doctor for part of it. http://convergence-con.org/
Day One: - Flat tire on the way there with my wife. 94 degree weather and she had her cat ears on. - New Format for their Registration Line, Result 3 hrs 40 min. New Record for longest time ever! People were saying 7k people - Did make it in time for Opening Ceremony and Super Spy Smackdown Panel (Had some help from a Hip Flask of Captain Morgan by then). - Did a Quick Tour of the first floor of party rooms. - Went Home before Midnight to rest up for today and wake up early for getting new tires for car.
LOL. Yes it was good. Got to sit in with a British Panel that had some WHO writers and Caitlin Blackwood, the young version of Amy Pond, from Doctor Who. Pretty Awesome. Haven't gotten around downloading pics from camera to computer yet, but will get that up. Took a picture near the Tardis with me as a Matt Smith Doc...lol.
