BDO, and yes, currently they are Fregar a Valkyrie and Gurtrud a Sorceress (both very youngand new). Plan on having either a Blader or Plum as soon as they are released. I am on Orwen, usually running around in Calpheon 2. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. Besides gaming I like fishing and sports, primarily football basketball and golf. I have a very tolerant wife and two teenage children. I currently am employed in a flooring warehouse, which basically means fork lift fun. My super power is my hearing. I have the amazing ability to tune anyone out at any given notice and I am known to say "What?" all the time. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A.I have always liked the idea of multi game communities, and was looking for one that appeared a bit smaller and cozier than some of the mega ones that are out there. I have seen the OSD tag before ( Isle of Janthir in GW2) and had looked at the site, but didn't join at that time. I think what I would bring to the guild is an attitude of fun and helpfulness. I know that's a cliche or standard answer, but it's what I do. What i look for in a community is a fun atmosphere with folks who like to put the guild first. Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. Like I said above I had seen the tag before and when I saw the thread on the BDO forums I came by again, and here I am. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. M- Th 6-9P CST/ Fri 6P -? CST/ Sat Anytime/ Sun 5-9P CST Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Herzog Zwei on the Sega Genesis. At that time it was the toughest AI I had played and it was all about tank combat. It was just a good time. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC and PS4 Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. I've been playing them since 2002. I started out mainly as a roleplayer then became fascinated with other aspects like PvP, crafting etc.. I've probably played for at least a few months all the major commercial MMOs. Mainly though it has been these: EQ - 2 years AO - 1 year WOW - 6 years I still very casually dabble in EQ2 and LotRO Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Community because i think it's cool to experience things with others from the silly to the major achievements. I also enjoy the combat, be it PvE or PvP. Killing and dieing, well less the dieing, is just fun. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. Well there was EQNext :cry: but I have also looked at Pantheon and Albion Online Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. yes to both. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. As long as I am available, I'm ready to jump in. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. Me! Because, well, I'm me! After all it's all about the Phat Lewtz!! Seriously though, I've always been fine with whoever needs it more or whatever the guild's policy is. No need to pitch a fit the sparkly loot will be mine someday. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. This what I see in my dreams, all else are nightmares
