generally the same people was just wondering what the hold up was ..is he short on the 20 ??

VON3

Heya guys...for all those in von3 with me tonight, sorry about the mishap and my internet crashing. The other day my wireless on my router crashed so i plugged directly using an ethernet cable...

Tonight that didn't even work. So, how am i sending this message...Beats the crap out of me, its working again.

As soon as i crashed and was done cursing cable internet and my new crappy modem, i immediatly tried to get it to work. Bad idea. Waste of my time. So what did i do? I hopped into my Jeep and drove to the nearest place on my college campus that i could get into at 10:30pm. Hooked up to the wi-fi there. (Ohh, and it was like 150 freakin degrees in there...it was horrible. )

Sadly, the grp was filled. Yndrofian and Blix did the correct thing and got someone else. I would have done the same thing. Ohh well.

However, i do believe it worked out for the best because the guildy you picked up (sorry forgot who, just remember it was a wizzy) i do believe needed von3 anyways. With no more traps or anything else like that, i hope it came out to be a better ending for everyone.

I just wanted to let everyone know what happened, say sorry, and tell you guys that VON3 doesn't scare me or anger me anymore. With the way we ran it tonight (until I crashed) i do believe von3 can be laughed at...a little... :?

Well, let me hear from you guys that braved the end beholders, a butt load of elementals, those dang seers, and Marut...

I would love to hear how it went. And if yall need a rogue for von4 hit me up. I can pretty much do most of the quest myself and we can get through it fast if thats whats wanted...SNEAK can get around a lot of things... :lol:

1. we picked up majar, who actually did not need the quest... but thats all good

2. after you left it all went down hill... the beholder didnt take to pk like they did last time... but we did decent... not good... just decent

3. and the end part...
well the 'sniping' from up top idea ended up being not so good of an idea...
next plan of attack is everyone ff of edge and directly into the midst of them all... ill tell you why in vc when we group next

4. then altariel, our cleric, got hit by the beholder right before the marut... tah was bad... and we almost killed him w/o a cleric.. but our elemental runner (majar) got smacked down

5. remember when we did it before and thought it was bugged?
well its not...
IF you kill the marut frist time in... its all good
but as soon as you aggro him, all those elementals behind spawn in sleep mode..
we had to kill prolly 10 of them on the way back to him...

in the end we did it

then we picked up a cleric to take altariels place, cause she went to bed, and we did von4
in von4 i realized we ddnt have a rouge...
well i found somethig out...
you can do it w/o a rogue pretty easily... as long as someone wants to die at the trapped lever
no biggie i ran up there hit the lever, died, dropped, rez'd at shrine and we were on our way

all in all, a profitable night
and yet again another reason why i HATE von3

That's great...ya once marut spawns all those in the room behind come back. I figured that one out. Sounds like you had a good stradegy for Marut. Have a beholder runner and all. Too bad a pally couldn't have done it so he could heal himself a little easier. I'm sure Majar performed admirably as always. That's awsome.

As far a von4 goes, and almost every other quest as a matter of fact, they can all pretty much be done without a rogue. But, it is kinda nice to have them sometimes. Extra secret door, in the case of VON4 an extra hidden shrine, some traps, etc. But like you said good grp, use a sacrifice, its all good. Im glad everything went well and that many of you are back on von5 now. Ive been there waiting for everyone to get back there. Well, sounds like we are getting there. See yall in game...

Ohh WOW...that is a pretty hard door for a rogue to find...the search on it is pretty high...i think like 30 something...i usually put on special gogs, rogue action boos, and maybe even a buff to find it...With wands like that you don't need a rogue...awsome, ill have to remember that
