Q. Which game(s) are you currently interested in playing with us, and do you currently have characters playing in game? If so what are their names? Which realm? Which platform? A. Black Desert - PC, currently my in-game name is called Argyrus. I am on the Orwen server. Q. This is the getting to know you portion of the questionnaire. Please tell us a little about yourself. (Hobbies?Family? Pets? School? Work? Any super hero or super villain abilities, nefarious schemes we should know about?) A. First off I love games, I play them everyday unless I am either at college or working. My favorite thing to do is build PCs and code/develop things. I am also decent at developing and coding websites as well. Q. Why do you want to join OSD? What is it you are looking for in a guild? How do you think you can best help this community? How can this community best help you? A. I am looking to build friendship in Black Desert and I believe joining a guild has those qualities. I can help the community by bringing dedication into making the community grow and helping out with all kinds of things. The thing that I hope for you guys to help me with is people to enjoy playing Black Desert with! Q - What led you to our website and ultimately to filling out this application? (Which friend? Website? In game ad? Psychic magnetism?) A. Black-Desert Forums and that you guys are PvX and on Orwen Server. Q. What is your typical game play schedule like? Please include times and time zones. A. EST, Monday and Wednesday any time Rest of the days I get on after 5PM eSt until how ever late. Q. What is the best game you have ever played and why? A. Really hard to say every game has their own good and bad qualities. Q. What platforms do you usually game on? If not just a PC, which consoles? A. PC Q. Tell us a little about your experience with MMOs. Which MMOs have you played and how long have you played for? A. Well I have played a lot from Vindictus to Neverwinter. I have played Vindictus the longest out of any MMO and neverwinter the least. Q. What is your favorite part of an MMO and why? (Leveling, PvP, raiding, community, roleplaying, crafting, achievements, exploration, etc) A. Raiding because you get to work as a team to kill things. Q. Are there any future MMO's or multiplayer games you're interested in playing? A. None as of right now, Black Desert was on my #1 list until It got released. Q. OSD is more than just a guild in a single game. We are a community of gamers that come together through the forums and Teamspeak. Do you plan on being active on the forums and use TS? What are your thoughts on using event calendars on the forums to coordinate guild events? A. Yes. Using calendars are a very good way to get everyone to together. Q. OSD has earned and prides itself on a reputation of respect, maturity and integrity. Please read the OSD CODE OF CONDUCT. If you violate any of these rules you jeopardize the reputation of our community and will face disciplinary action up to, and including, removal from this community. Do you understand, and agree with this rule? A. Yes. Q. We will never force you to participate in any activity or event that falls outside your playstyle of choice. However, from time to time, you may be asked to help the guild out if we are short on a particular role or just need to fill up an empty group spot. For example, if you happen to be a tank built character, and we need to fill out a raid spot with a tank, we may ask you to come along and help out the raid. Or if we happen to be outnumbered in a PvP battle, we may ask you to come help us bolster our numbers and even the playing field a little. What are your thoughts on this topic? A. It seems like a good idea as it means players will get to play different roles and it allows them to try new things, but depending on how serious the raid is I would suggest you let the person play his role he is good at since he hasn't had a lot of experience in that role. Q. Pretend you are raiding with the guild and after the final boss fight an uber fantastic, stupendous, ultra rare, sparkly item drops. Who do you think should receive this item and why? A. I believe everyone should receive the drop via by selling. If it can't be sold then I suggest who ever is the lucky one to get the drop gets it. Since the system dropped for the players it must be his. The better option would be to divide it among the raiders. Q. Is bacon awesome? What form does bacon manifest in your dreams? A. Who would ask such a silly question?... Of course Bacon is awesome, in my dreams, Bacon is everything!
Permissions are set! Welcome to OSD! I managed to get you into the in-game guild today, it's all gravy now. =)
