Application to the Guild

Foogah
Rogue(Neutral)

Foogah, was a happy shopkeep and was married to his love Hera. One day an rogue came is the store and took more than some coins or good. The life of his soulmate was taken and as of that day Foogah need to become what had taken his love so that he could understand and remember always what the rest of his life would be like with out his love.

IRL I work for a computer company as an office manager and have just my wife with me. I am 38. DDO is going to be a great ride.

Would like to join this guild because of the way this game should be treated like a long trip with many stops along the way, even going back and helping others where you have been.

Doesn't hurt to try friend.... but you should see this:

I wish you luck with the guards.

Luck is a Rogue friend when nothing else is.

Welcome, tell us a little more. A story perhaps? Or, maybe buy us Ale to drink or something.

"Indeed! Ale! For jesinia! Tea for me please, i am here to guard Jesinia from lecherous old men as she imbibes our exquisite ale." Kril says as he peers at you curiously, "What did you say your chosen profession was again friend?"

Stories are to be lived and then told over Ale and song. As for me Foogah Quicksilver I would leave the story telling to the Dwarfs for the can spin a tale far better than an halfling like myself. I must always be looking over my sholder to make sure that today is not my last. Fight when I can and hide when I must. This is what i must do.

Hail and welcome to the Gates, Foogah! Have you played in beta at all? I get the impression from your post that you had, but it's not clear. If so, what's something you liked, and something you didn't like about the game? (if you liked it, that's good too)

No way! Dwarves make it all up! They are not to be believed. And Ale, my dear, Kril, is the only drink worth drinking around here. If you want tea come see me for an infusion that will cure whatever ails you!

Kril stares at the ale in Jesinias hands and the tea in his and sighs as he states, "Gimme an ale barkeep! This old dog has life yet in him! And who am i going to bark at with a dry whistle! Besides.... i have been without ale for some time now..." Kril tosses the cup of tea out the door as Yndro walks in drenching the front of his robes in tea. Kril grimaces as he says, "Aiiii.. that'll leave a stain..."

I don't know about story telling......

But I can drink ale with the best of em!

Welcome and good luck with your application.

Beta

Yes, have played and beta and 2 other preview events. I like that the game can be played many diffrent ways, as a halfing rogue I am always looking for a way to avoid problems before they become problems. As for drinks give me some wiskey and remember halfling rogues dont fall they tumble .

Another rouge, well I guess they have there places and there have been a lot of locked doors between us and evil. Not sure if this one can be trusted with the treasury but if we keep him busy with sewer work and well feed maybe, just maybe we could let him in.

What say you rouge can we trust you?

Trust

Trust is for fools, respect and honor is what I will give to the silverdragons. Treasure is only grand when it can be shared with brothers and sisters, in battle and in life.

Foogah,

Is the dragon within you? How might you aid our cause?

Always did like a rogue with an attitude. Luck with the application - and Luck in the Shadows.

If the cause is just

Nibble fingers, halfling stealth, wit as sharp as my daggers and courage as tough as diamonds. This will be my pledge to the silverdragons.

Re: If the cause is just

Well he claims trust is for fools so I won't trust him, but he does pledge sharp daggers.

I will not bar the gates from you. The time has come Guards do we let him in? Yea or Nay?

Is good, another Rogue though, we best make sure the locks are all tripled now. Too many of them sneaky people to keep an eye on them all. This one has my support. Let him in.

Hello and welcome to our gates What is the number one goal you have in game? Take care.

Goal

I am looking forward to the questing and exploring, and treasure <grin>. The levels will come with time but I hope the story and community will make the game like a diffrent life that I can put myself in to relax and enjoy. Reliving old battles that came out good or bad. Hope that helps.
