Applicant~Trixxi

Hello.

My name is Ninquelote (among others, of course).

Those of you who read the official Turbine forums have no-doubt read my posts, many of which are as long winded as this one.

I am new to this server, ahving just rolled up my first ever Argonessian character thanks to an invite from Yndrofian to come check you out. His invitation said I had impressed him on the forums and he thought I would be a good fit for the Silver Dragons.

I've played Ultima Online for a year, Everquest for 2.5 years, and Everquest II for 1.5 years. Always in raid-oriented guilds.

When I play DDO I want to see the campaign. I want to experience the dungeons, not just zerg through them. I want to group with guildmates not PUGs. I want to make this as close to the PnP game as I can. I expect to be playing 20-30 hours per week or more, for many months to come (or years, if DDO can keep me around that long).

I love the PnP game. I've been a DM for almost 30 years in PnP, starting with Dungeons and Dragons before they every published Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (I remember waiting for my local hobby store to open so I could buy my reserved AD&D Player's Handbook the very first day it was available for purchase).

My favorite DDO experience has been leading a raid through Tempest Spine and getting out of there with all of us alive and kicking.

My least favorite DDO experience was every time I do a level 8 or 9 or 10 quest and get a level 2 reward...

I normally play eveneings. I live in Utah, so my evenings start a bit later than any of you East Coasters, but I generally play from around 7-8 EST until about 3am EST.

I read the manual and I won't bribe anyone.

I love roleplaying but don't engage much in it in MMOs since so few others roleplay (even on RP-preferred servers).

and i JUST rememberd.. i think i told you i was in east3 and that id get back to you about finding a group...
and i dont think i did... many apologies... e3 kinda makes me forget things... just like id kinda like to forget it

anyway... i honstly dont remember the post, guys, but it was, as he said, extensive and good... i was very impressed...
ive never grouped with him before, but id sponsor him right off the bat... except i already have an applicant under my wing ...

i may just roll me a new pc so can play with him !!??!!

and also... i forgot to say earlier... it would be advantageous if you were to read the announcements and stickies at the top of this forum and follow the links contained therein

this will give you a good idea what were all about

there should be a link in one of them that will direct you through the application process, well the application for the fourms...

 

I have read your posts there are many was just wondering what brought you to this server & our gates ( other that yndros invite ) I have a low lv toon I keep arround to do quests with . a pally/cleric type tawney silverhand ..will keep your name and look for you ingame

just rolled thru deleras tomb wtih trixxi and it was a great time. If you haven't grouped with trixxi, you are missing out. A very team oriented player. He is the type of player that I would look to sponsor in the future.

Correction: Coriia has been born and is level 2 instead of Ninquelote. Now I'll never make Ninquelote because Coriia has a more attractive backside...

Grouped with Trixxi today for about an hour in threnal. Good player and team mate. I would group with him anytime. I am already on his list of 20, with Ghostrider. Just wanted to throw some more input on the forum in his support.

 

I played along with Trixxi a little while back in Threnal. I would be happy to add her to the ranks of the Order.
