Hey there OSD. I doubt any one would remember me, because quite frankly, I barely remember anyone besides Sook from the last time I was a member of this community. I have a terrible memory though, and that was over a year and a half ago, so not surprising for me! A little about me, I'm 24, a Canuck, and I have a job in web development that's taking up wayyy too much of my time right now. Anyhow, I'm going to answer your questions and open myself up for you guys to nitpick all my flaws and poke fun at me. - What brought you to our website? I just resubbed to DDO, and I saw a member of OSD running around in the harbor by the name of Wizwar. I was a little excited to see that the order was still around, so I asked him about it and he pointed me in the direction of the forums for me to apply. - Why might you be interested in joining our community? I'm looking to find a good group of people to have some solid fun with while I play. I have a couple friends that play, but I never seem to get on at the same time as them so I end up playing either solo or in random groups most of the time. - Have you been playing MMO's for a while or are you just getting started? I've been playing for awhile actually (years). Well, I used to play a lot more than I do now, since I've learned my lesson about what games like these can do to your social life if you let 'em. Now I play pretty casually, just in downtime when there's nothing really going on at home or with any of my friends. - Do you feel comfortable with the website and it's resources? Completely. I remember being thoroughly impressed back in the day by this guild's site and organization, and I have to say I still am. I'm a web developer by profession, so I can appreciate what you've done here - What kind of character do you typically play? Tell us about your main character? Generally, I like to play a support type (though not complete support). In DDO right now, I have a cleric for obvious reasons of being able to support a party, but I've made sure he's able to hold his own too. As well, my two caster characters I generally have focused around CC and Enchantment, with a little dps on the side. I just like to feel like I make a contribution, and I get that feeling most out of a support role. - Describe your style of game play... Sometimes I let myself be a little bit of a powergamer, just because I like to see my characters advance and get new skills and the like. Character building is a lot of fun for me, so that's where the drive to powergame comes from. On the other hand, I enjoy a good roleplay, or even just small time questing when with people I enjoy playing with. Having a good time with friends is just as rewarding, if not moreso, even if nothing really even gets done, hehe. - What time of day do you typically play? How often? I play weeknights mostly for a couple hours after work to relax, as long as I'm not busy that night with other things. On weekends I'll play mornings usually for a few hours. - Are you affiliated with any other guilds? Nope. Trial is still in a guild he created for just some of our friends called Aegis... but it's more of a placeholder just so my friends and I could talk in guild chat, ha. - Which of the characters listed in your forum signature (see STEP 3) do you play the most? It varies. Right now I've been playing Xeden the most, but it's really dependent on what groups in the LFG tabs need at the time when I'm on. - We are an Argonnessen Server guild within Dungeons and Dragons Online. Do you play on this server? Yes I do.
TRIAL!! Welcome back brother.... =) I mostly plat Xouk now... Lot's of us in end game content but many of us in the mid level and low level range these days.... Tomorrow morning I'll get your app aquared away... have to bolt now... wife aggro hehe... Good to see ya man!!
welcome back, trial! i wouldnt call this an 'application,' per se, rather an re-introduction heck, youve got a higher post count that some of our most in-game active guildies LOL but anyway, welcome back brother i went ahead and approved your citizen and osd-ddo usergroup requests now ya just gotta find an officer in game and we'll throw ya an invite
and avoid that Wizwar guy. Total noob. Sorry, did that wrong, lemmie try again.... and avoid that Wizwar guy. Total n00b! There. much better.
you know who wizwar is, funk? who is it? i dont know cause hes not in the roster!! (and btw, war's caster is called warmajik)
Yes I'm a total noob. I warned him. Sorry my name isn't on the roster. How do I add it? edit: I added my two toons to roster.
stand corrected! haven't been on much in a while, and assumed it was war. My appologies KoS, and let me fix my previous error... War is a n00b!!!! And i haven't played with KoS yet, so i can't officially call him a Noob. But don't worry, i call everyone a noob, as everyone calls me one (and rightly so!!!) so no offense intended!
I can't be offended by the truth. I am a noob, sad, but true. I've only been playing the game for almost a month now.
Howdy! I'm pretty new to the guild , but I'd like to say 'Howdy!' Now, though most folks around Chicago only consider Indiana as something that seperates Illinois from Ohio, I promise not to hold it against ya! Cya ingame!
yay, thanks man - makes it waaay easier to figure out who ppl is without having to ask all the time(I keep the roster up on my laptop next to me always when I play )
Bee, we've discussed this, and agreed there's be no impromptu changing of the noob calling protocol. how can anyone know you really mean it if you don't do it according to the standard operating proceedure?
